a jab to the adams apple will have someone gasping for air for a few minutes, provided you don't overdo it...

I use more speed then muscle.. always aiming for points that hurt really fast... 
i have a new twist on Obo... (obo is a ninja trick were you use knifehand and hit under the arm)
my twist is that you use spearhand instead and hit the muscles  right under the arm and if you hit correct you hit a nerve.. yeah i have used it one time.. and the dude that attacked me.. was like holding his side for a good period of time... Ahahhahaa..

Hehe.. I almost got disqualified from a turnament.. becouse we had like really weird sparring things...  I was a green belt fighting a red belt.. becouse it was small groups that came to the turnament.. and they had to put some red over to the lower belt rank..
and the rest was like over at the black belt thing..

Ok and the reason i almost got disqualified was that i copy his movments hahaha.. he use punch i block and used punch...so he used block also..
So i found out i was going to trick him the last time.. so i lowered my block.. so he think i was going to punch... so i did  something i am not allowed to do..since my belt was green i am not allowed to use black belt stuff.. hehe so i used a blackbelt thing to win.. and the judges.. wanted to disq. me but my trainer came and said.. that i did not know better.. *laughs*

So i have a some gold medals;)

we did have a 4th degree black belt come to our dojo and do a couple sparring workshops. My strongpoint isn't so much getting strikes in but rather being fast enough for my size that it's hard to hit me. Also the bones in my arms are weird, I physically can't hyperextend my elbow without breaking the end of my ulna (the hard part of your elbow), which comes in handy sometimes.
He was surprised how hard my blocks were given that I haven't done much conditioning...one of the more advanced students in the adult class did a pretty hard sidekick during a sparring match and the bone in my arm hit a nerve or something in his ankle when I blocked it. It made a nasty >crack< noise and we had to stop for a minute because he couldn't feel his foot. It was kinda funny watching him jump around because this guy is insane at karate...

that first move you were talking about, are you talking about a strike to the ribs right under the arm? If you use your knuckle instead and jam it into the ribs right under the armpit it hurts a lot and sometimes their arm goes numb...

Hehe.. the OBO is is ninja skill use knifehand and hits under the armpit.. my trainer said i was better then that and make me use the spearhand...
so i better give him the creds. for the new twist hehe

Karate use knukles more then we use in the Tea kwon-do
hehe I have auto reflex with my legs.. LOL A black belt try to kick me with a middle roundhouse kick... *smiles* Hehhee.. I got alittle closer and my knee just hit him like in the muscle in the thigh on the backside of the thigh.. and he is just like... WTF man... that hurt like hell...
I laugh... and said ..sorry it is just reflexes..
My reflexes are scary..
