Oh, I see.  I thought you were saying that he was spreading ignorance by making a "white trash" joke via the name of Bubbas' county.
It's good to hear that Mitch is widely educated.  Sure knocks the stuffing out of the dumb slaphead image which some have bestowed upon comic book creators.

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

I got the comic and t-shirt in the mail the other week. Both are cool looking. Sorry for not responding right away. I've been extremely busy at work.

While reading the comic, I found a few spelling mistakes.

On top of page 19. Female is spelled FEAMLE. And on page 21, earthling is spelled EARTLING.

The funniest part of the comic is when Bubba wakes up on the spaceship and asks... "Why does my butt hurt?" Ha!! Even werewolves can get probed!! lol

I plan on wearing the t-shirt at a convention in June. (Project A-kon)

Thanks again. smile

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

The "BUBBA;Super Sc-Fi Special" came out pretty good but there is room for improvement, like you pointed out Figarou there was some instances of mispelling among other things that can be improved ...Mitch , myself and the others involved in bringing you the further misadventures of the South's most infamous werewolf will make it our primary mission in making future issues more enjoyable and hopefully free of mistakes.
Of course some concessions will have to be made of the fact that the main character is a "Redneck Werewolf" and he and his ilk will often times talk slang , use obscure terms and be grammatically challenged.
Maybe sometime in the future we will offer prizes for those who discover "Gaffes" or mistakes in future issues....something like a BUBBA sketch etc...
One of the main goals of any artist / writer/ creator is to improve from his/her past work.
To produce the best work possible...this is essential in any artists growth. cool

Finding a mistake after something is published can be aggravating.

I sometimes reverse letters when I'm typing. Or forget to add a letter.

I've seen artists forget to color in something in thier art after they publish it. That or forget a line in thier sketch.

I often find goofs in films. Some are easy to spot while others are very difficult.

I'm not sure if this goof was intentional. In the film "Commando," the yellow Porsche is totally wrecked on the left side after a chase. But when Arnold drives it way, it looks fine as if nothing happened to it.

I hope I don't find any goofs in the Bubba movie. I'm good at finding them. big_smile (Once I see the film several times, that is.)

To all members of the BUBBA NATION;
For all who are interested in the art on the BUBBA T-shirts that Mitch is putting together ,you can sneak a peek at the art at my site at; www.vinsonsbookstore.com/shawn.html
It's on the gallery page , the colors on the art are not final but the piece will give you an accurate indication on what to expect on the shirts...let me know what you think.
