OOOOOOOH!  SNEAK PEEKS! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

I'll pass the discount and movie deal information on to Zimmies' (the comic book store here in Lewiston).  Maybe that will encourage them to start carrying it.  Every little bit helps, eh? big_smile

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

You do that and we'll take care of the rest! thanks! All comic shops are welcome!  now as for the flag. the folks from Holland have a band and wanted to use a Bubba banner behind their set -up. so it's like banner in our US sense of the term, but they refer to ot as a flag and should be the dimensions of a flag just like our US one. . They wanted Bubba portrayed on it drinking a beer and maybe Bobbi-jo in the background. I'm not sure what colors they want , but I do  have dimensions  they have sent. i can hook ya'll up, if anyone wnats to try and make this ofr them. they will pay for it, but let's try to keep it economical and shipping is easy if you roll it up in a tube and then send it global priority or surface. so, if anyone wants to help our Dutch brethren(and Sistren), contact me at: bubbawolf@hotmail.com  come on folks...Let's be part of the global village for real! Thanks!

Hurrah! Do you know when it'll be in the shops?

Incidentally, if you happen to be passing the Silent Devil website at some point, do drop into the forums. There'll be jelly and balloons, and there's plenty of folks who'll be hugely happy to see you.  (The same goes for everyone at the Werewolf Cafe, in fact – jelly and balloons for all!) I've been posting some Ape Man and Monkey Boy stuff, but it's just not the same without the chap who made it all happen...

I can't say it often enough, Mitch – huge amounts of thanks to you for allowing Larry and myself to play a part in Bubba's latest comic, and here's to lots more collaborations in the future. You are King Groovy!

Sounds cool...are they being made by the same folks who made the Bubba shirt I have at home, bought in 2003?  It's white, with Bubbas' head on the front in black and Bubba the Redneck Werewolf on a plank across my shoulders on the back.

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

I GOT IT! I GOT IT! I GOT IT! smile

Without giving the stories away, all I can say....

It's funny, Bubba is the same ol good redneck werewolf as ever, Bobbi-Bo is sassy as usual and they have a very interesting adventure that is out-of-this-world. wink

Two fan-issue (Bubba # 6) favorite team, Matt Smith and Scary Larry, have a real funny debut of their back-up tale of Ape-Man &  Monkey-Boy that will drive ya bananas! big_smile

Bubba never looked so good in color until now and I hope future Bubba issues will be in color as well!

Check it out, y'all!

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

Hello to all the members of the pack;
               Shawn Surface here just letting evrybody know that the new ,latest issue of "BUBBA" is out .Had a good positive response to the book at this year's MegaCon event here in Florida,where we had the long awaited issue out just in time for a sneak peek.
    Just to say taht it was a personal milestone for me...this issue marks the first time ever that a story of mine has been published...It also marks the first time that I illustrated a whole "BUBBA" story for Mitch,before now I have only helped out by providing some cover art , title design, and ink assist on the book.
   I hope everybody enjoys the book,it's not exactly Shakespeare but hey ...what is nowadays...Let me know what you think and hopefully soon another installment of "BUBBA;the Redneck Werewolf will follow.
                                                                                                         -till then ,stay cool,  S.

I don't know if there are plans for a new forum on bubbawolf.net, but there is a dedicated Bubba forum over at the Silent Devil website. It'd be most groovy to have you guys over there too, so please do call in while you're trundling down the InformationSuperCarPoolLane.

http://www.silentdevil.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7

I'm delighted that you folks have been enjoying the new issue – I haven't seen the printed version myself yet (one of the few downsides of living in rural England is that there are no comic shops within a 30-mile radius of your house), so it's great to hear that it's gone down so well. Also, a great big Hello! to Mr Surface, who deserves hearty cheering and acclamations all round for his spiffing work on the Sci-Fi Special.

Also also: if you head over to the Wizard magazine website, you'll discover that the staff have written a lovely news piece all about Bubba's latest comicky outing (and the upcoming movie). There's a link to the article on the front page, but to save your Virtual Shoe Leather, you can find it simply by clicking on the hyperlink below.

Cheerio for now, chaps!

Matt, several comic book companies take orders from individuals, so you might be able to have it delivered to you via post. big_smile

So, this is not a completed issue but a preview?  I am confused...

From another forum regarding the new Bubba the Redneck Werewolf issue:

SWAMP THING wrote:

To all members of the pack ,greeting and salutations to all. I am proud to announce the return of the south's most infamous Werewolf.
    The "BUBBA;the Redneck Werewolf" super special #1 is currently in release ,it took a while but we finally cranked out a new issue,I'm especially pround in that it is my first published story ever and my first full "BUBBA" issue that I illustrated.
   The new issue made it's debut at this year's MegaCon which was held in Orlando , Fl...(aka)"BUBBALAND"
   The response was great,had 'BUBBA' philes coming out of the woodwork,good news is that with this issue a new era of "Pig's Knuckle Bend's" pride and joy begins and with luck and support we can get this wolf on a regular shipping schedule.
   To find out more about the new issue you can check out my website at;
     www.vinsonsbookstore.com/shawn.html
or visit the Wizard World website, or the Silent Devil website respectively.
  If your local comics retailer does not carry "BUBBA"....RAISE SOME HELL!!!!!
Let them know about it and get them to order the book(S).
     If you buy a copy of the book read it ,check it out and let me know what you think of it ,storywise and artwise....be honest,your criticism whether it be positive or negative will help improve the quality and contents of future issues to come.
                                                       -looking forward to your feedback;
