Who is Robert Cammon?
I like raw fish.
Mmmmmm....tuna and yellowfin sushi.
Blue, once again your mention of vegitarianism has caused images of vegetable primavera pizza and veggie white lasagna with roasted garlic h'ordoevres to dance through my head.
Great.
I'm gonna pack on the pounds again, and it is all because of you.

Well, unless I got things mixed up again and missppelled his name, he's the guy that wrote The Wolf's Hour, and Swan's Song, and A Boy's Life, Usher's Passing, Mystery Walk, and Baal.

If I believe in werewolves, why not believing in Sandy Claws?

An extremely gifted writer who wrote one of my most favorite books called, Wolf's Hour. It is a cross between Indiana Jones/James Bond and an awesome werewolf movie. If you have not read it yet, pick it up.

Hmmm...sounds good. I may just do that.

i tend to believe that a werewolf is actually a human developed through evolution from a wolf rather than a monkey perhaps there are humans developed from allsorts of other species if for example a human has developed from a pig u could call them borstal humans.
besides that i have actually seen a man turn into a wolf it is possible though anyone can claim that i know what i know etc.bla bla

Hmmm...that sounds interesting. A bit too sci-fi for me, but it is an intriguing thought and could be a good plot starter for a story.
I like the sort of werewolves found in Robert Jordan's The Wheel Of Time books.

I can see where people could get the idea of werewolves. My dog is the size of a pony and when he goes outside at night and hunches down to shite, it looks like a small human in the classic hunched wolf position howling at the moon. So you can imagine if you saw an Irish Wolfhound doing the same. Also there is a skin condition (if you watched one of the latest CSI Las Vegas) where it causes you to have thick hair growth all over your body, including your face. From there I think many people just ran with the idea of werewolves. Or , man and wolf mated and poof! you have one ugly hairy baby. I like to use that excuse for a lot of people.

Yeah, this world is far wider than many think.
There is more in heaven and earth, Horatio, than is in your science.

Really?? How did he do that? Can you post the transformation on-line here?
I'd really would like to see that.

His name is Robert McCammon. I would suggest that anyone who has not yet had the pleasure read Wolf's Hour.

And the instruction manual would also come in handy, thanks!

I beleive that werewolves are fully possible within the realm of science. Werewolves who P shift, I think, would have a perfectly understandable and realistic explanation. Just because we don't understand how something like that words YET doesn't mean it is impossible. Alas, with that said, I am do not think that P-shifters exist, at least not on this planet. I think it would have been descovered by now.
Maybe on an alien planet there are intelligent lifeforms with similar myths, except they are true. Maybe other organisms on other planets have the ability to shift in the way that we are talking about. But thats only if you belive that there is intelligent life out there other than our own.

Old topic,another opinion...
I am unsure as far as physical shifting goes,I can do mental and astral shifts and can make my m-shifts feel like p-shifts but it does not really happen.I am not one to say it can never happen though, everybody thought getting to the moon was impossible, yet it happened so it leaves the possiblity open.I guess being able to have m-shifts makes me believe it's possible, but I guess we shall have to wait and see...
Anybody else able to do m-shifts or a-shifts?

Hmmmmmmmm................sort of.
I have felt myself to be more cougar-shaped than I am a few times.
But I was not in a very mentally healthy state then.

Well, been reading 'Hunting the American Werewolf' lately, and man... THAT makes me believe that something that looks like a werewolf is running around somewhere Especially the account by two folks up in Canada of a furry guy with a wolf head and tattered plaid shirt running past their car.
Course they could have just been smoking something...
Offline
The plaid shirt leads me to think that. It's just too much of a steriotype.
Do you have a link to the story?
