Just a few pics. I haven't had as much time to draw as I would like, so here are a few things that I've been working on.
Some inking practice. I wanted to test how I would ink fur traditionally. I like those dark, heavy inks for werewolves. <3
A quick ink sketch of Micki:
More inked werewolf sketches:
I'll try to post more in the days to come. I get a feeling that I'll be doing more art. I just have to remember to share it here too. XD

Wow...I just checked out every piece you've done. AMAZING work! I only wish I had the capability to draw/animate like that...Especially werewolves Keep up the great work, and continue to share!

Thought I'd get around to sharing my recent werewolf on here.
Dane Walker, for a group on DA.
He's a pretty scruffy dude. Likes cigarettes, leather jackets, and dive bars. He's your All-American tough guy. Which is funny because he's probably one of the chillest, bitten werewolves out of all my characters. He and Aislin (the pale-colored werewolf on the previous page of this thread) would probably get the best. They are masters of sass.

Haven't posted anything here in awhile. So here's an updated.
"Daniel in the Den"
A scene from my comic, "Northwood". Featuring Aislin and William.
"Rematch"
A continuation piece for one I did for Jingles a long time ago. This time it's in ink, and the girls are picking up the fight where they left off.
"Minutes to Midnight"
Aislin and Dallas are chasing down dogmen, and they lose the trail. These two hard-heads need to find it before it's too late.
So those are my lastest werewolf pieces. Mostly working in ink now. I don't do a lot of digital coloring anymore; I haven't in a long time, and I honestly prefer my inks.

Super cool artwork. Great characters. Do you illustrate for any books? As it looks like you artwork could be in a graphic novel or something. The two pieces with humans and werewolves are my favs.

Are your pieces done in pencil, then pen & ink? or are they strictly digital pieces?

Thanks! And I'm working on a few illustrations for books, but nothing majorly published. I have my own graphic novel that I'm working on though called "Northwood". I'll most likely post pages, sketches, and other stuff for it on this forum.

I work primarily with traditional mediums. I sketch it by hand, and ink it by hand. I don't work digitally until the end (if I need to block in huge areas or if I want to tweak things).

Thank you.

The splash page for "Northwood". Setting the scene in the northern mountains, somewhere near Yellowstone.
The early pages of "Northwood". This is just the inks. I'm debating whether to go back and add faint colors, gray tones, or just leave it as black and white. Inks are nice and clean, but simple colors can help give it some depth.

A few updates. Here's some sketches of some current ink work.

I'll post more later. Until then, you can follow me on my Tumblr. I'll definitely post art there - and plenty of werewolves.

Final inks of this!
Aislin is giving a newly-shifted William a stern talking to. Boy’s gotta learn who to follow and when to keep his smart yap shut.
I may start posting some of my comic pages - sans text b/c I haven't formatted it for that yet. I'm ready to get "Northwood" up and running.

Nice work!

I posted a link to my old Northwood pages awhile back.
However, as I've started the project anew, I've since updated the story and characters. So here's the new splash page for Northwood!
