Hmmmm........I'm going south this weekend (my comics suppliers are east) so it'll be two more weeks before I get a copy (Right now, I travel every other weekend.)

I finally was able to get the first two issues of this series and was really impressed! Nice work, guys! this is the way the "serious"  side of the genre should be treated. Great characters and and a plot  that moves as fast as the action. Nice! As for Diamond..Well, every WOLF has their day and you can take from myself and Cadre...if you stick with it and don't let them try and get you down with their  "Company line" or  certain "drone" brand managers who have no idea of your vision and you'll win the day (or Night) with ease. 

Unfortunately, they are a neccessary evil to reach the broader market...but if it makes anyone feel any better...even major magazines, DVD's, movies, and Toys all have the same thick percentages at the distribution endand are tough to wrangle. However! If you stay dilligent, push the positive aspects of your work and submit your work to magazines like CBG and the web based 'zines, you can build a public groundswelling that will overshadow the narrow minded nincompoops  who seem to most us that the only purpose they have in life is making others miserable...Like lawyers! LOL!   

The best part is that if you hang in there, keep being seen, hit as many shows as you can, then you'll be amazed how that will get the attention of the Diamond "higher-ups" who will go to bat for you if you play fair and prove your  book has ability. You just have to get  past  some fool who thinks that  working the job they have will finally pay off by getting them a job at one of the big three publishers.   These goofs, Like some critics,  have never written a thing except a grocery list and most, while having degrees in Art, can't even draw a conclusion.

There,  I hope this helps...If not, I have certain irritable redneck werewolf  who has now proved a few of these knotheads wrong. But never gleefully  tout your victory to these types, just smile, wave  and  hope they learned the lesson just taught. If not...then simply...Rip their dang heads off ...Ahem...I digress....just hang in there and all will work out!

Thanks for the great feedback RealDealBubba.. It's an uphill battle I know but that's EXACTLY why I love forums like this.  You can get in touch with the fanbase directly and make some were-friends in the process!

Howllow, jesterpress, I was wondering if you were coming to WIZARDWORLD LA 2006 in Los Angeles, during March 17th, 18th, and 19th?

Aw, I wanna to meet you guys but I understand the expenses can be pretty high to travel across the country.

I can relate to that blue eyes....we're gonna make it out to the west coast eventually....it's been an expensive year for me..withthe new baby and all...kinda drains the $$$$cashflow$$$...

All the good shows are unfortunately on the west coast...I've heard a mixed bag about Chicago so I'm not to sure about that convention any more...now San Diego...That's pure comic heaven there!
