That's awesome! Especially the Have Heart shirt! I really like that band a lot if you can't tell... If you don't have "Songs to Scream at the Sun" yet, GET IT! Also, have fun in Boston. That hardcore scene is LEGENDARY. I believe I've already mentioned this...but yeah!

Hopefully it'll give you some inspiration. Sunland was a mental hospital which closed down way back in the day (like in the 70's), and yet they left it standing, abandoned until just a couple years ago. I used to pass by there all the time and man, shoot man, that was the creepiest place ever. Definitely haunted. Anyways, that was like THE place for teenagers to test themselves and to visit at night.

yeah i know hahaha were going to this place that has like blood stains on the floor they dont clean hahaha...apparently the place is intense....idk i just hate flying. not the flying part....just the "sitting in one place for like 7-8 hours" thing... OH and sitting next to someone i dont know. hopefully its not some EPIC fat guy that squishes me against the damn window hahaha...

Ahh, really? That reminds me of this house in my old neighborhood that everyone said was haunted. There were these two girls who would always mess around in there (despite the fact that the house was on sale and they weren't supposed to..) and try and see the ghosts. Also, multiple people had seen the same ghost woman in some 1930s type of outfit... Haunted places are definitely interesting!!

Haha, damn! They really are hardcore down in Boston... Then again, if you read Blood For Blood's lyrics, that should be obvious! Boston also had a straight edge crew that consisted of the bands SS Decontrol, Negative FX (NOFX got their name from 'em) and DYS in the 80s. Interesting stuff to read about! Anyway...yeah, I hate flying too! I remember when we flew over to England... it was hell, haha. Bein' trapped in a TUBE for 8 hours is not fun! And luckily I was with my family so I didn't have to worry about sittin' next to people I don't know.

That's a good book if you're just gettin' into the oldschool bands!
The movie's good, too. It coulda been better, but it was still pretty good. A lot of great Bad Brains footage, and some awesome Black Flag and Minor Threat footage as well! Another hardcore documentary I really like is "Another State of Mind", which follows the bands Youth Brigade and Social Distortion on tour in 1982. They interview Ian McKaye (Minor Threat vocalist/the one who started straight edge!), and there's some live performances from Social Distortion and Minor Threat..

Are you talkin' about "Edge: The Movie"? I haven't seen it yet, but I'd like to! What did Rollins have to say..? I know him and Ian were friends... Ever seen the National Geographic documentary "Inside Straight Edge"? That was a good one! Really delves into the history of it. They also interview the man who started up FSU. They also interview the entirity of xAFBx and there's footage of 'em performing! I'd suggest watchin' it, good stufff
