Ah, I used to have a guitar, but I had to get rid of it the last time we moved because apparently my mom couldn't afford to have it & my amp taken with us...
I had this guitar around the time I was musically retarded, so I knew some Green Day and Offspring songs, haha.
Offline
Hahahah nice I can play some black dahlia murder songs... But only like 2 because they are CRAZY hard
Offline
Yeah, I imagine that they're hard - metal's not an easy genre to play. It's supposed to be complex, hahaha. Though, I could play "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath pretty easily...then again that's usually the first song every single person who picks up a gu8itar learns to play.
Offline
Exactly hahaha... I'm playing it one more time. It's an alexi laiho signature guitar...the guy from children of bodom ..... So HELLHOUNDS ON MY TRAIL hahahah
Offline
Ah, I see. Alexi Laiho is a pretty good guitarist, though all of the tr00 metalheads seem to really hate him. Probably because Children of Bodom are popular and that particular crowd hates anything that gains popularity.
I kinda like early CoB, but I haven't been able to get into the new stuff much.
Ever heard of Septic Flesh?
If you like melodic death metal, you'd probably like 'em!

You're Finnish, eh? Sweet.
Speaking of Finnish heavy metal, Nightwish is Finnish too...though I cannot picture you listening to that band.
Ah, I think the "Something Wild" album is their best. It's got a good amount of black metal influence in it - I mean, it isn't a black metal album, but I can hear the Dissection influence in there pretty clearly, haha.
Oh, and I haven't really looked much into my lineage, but I know my mother is Scottish/Swedish.
Offline
Dude I love nightwish. Only the new lead singer though..... yeah. I've been listening to alot of a day to remember Latley
Offline
Ahahaha, I love both singers. I'll admit sometimes the whole opera thing on the old stuff can be a little over the top, but it's still fun stuff. But yeah, "Dark Passion Play" is probably one of their best - Anette's a pretty good singer. Definitely different from Tarja, but good.
Regarding A Day to Remember...
THIS IS A BATTLEGROUNDDDD.

I wanna go this year too. I'm hoping to catch Every Time I Die, Fake Problems, Set Your Goals (don't judge me), Four Year Strong (again, don't judge me haha), Dillinger Escape Plan, Face to Face...oh, and Emmure just so I can yell "YOU SUUUCCCKKK" to their faces.
Offline
Hahaha I almost got in a fight with the lead singer of emmure. I held up a sign that said "plaigarism is the higest form of flattery" at one of their shows and he came down and got all butthurt about it
Offline
Aww, he was all pissed off that someone pointed out the fact that they're Acacia Strain clones? Poor wittle guy. I like how serious Frank seems to take their music - as if they're actually creating art. I think Emmure is the metalcore equivalent to Brokencyde - it's just gently caressin' awful
Offline
Indeed.... They call it breakcore.... Breakdowns for 3 minutes... Hahahah idkive been putting up flyers for acacia strains new album coming out in July. It's supposed to be really good... I'm on their "street team" hahah OH BTW mugwort worked. I ran after that wolf and it took me to this hill and I thought I recognized it and I did it was these hills by my house.... I woke up and I was like O_O WTF
Offline
Haha, breakcore's already a genre though - except it's electronic-type stuff.
Ah, hopefully it'll be good. All I have is "Continent" but I do like it - I hope they have one really kick-ass line on there like "I AM THE END OF THE WOOORLD". Seriously I wanna scream that shite in some random person's face on the street, hahahahaha. Acacia have a lot of breakdowns too to be honest but they put some awesome guitar melodies in there to keep you interested - like in "JFC" in the middle of the song.
I was part of the Nitro Records street team - then the label went under. AFI were on that label when they were still hardcore.
Oh, and if you don't believe that AFI used to be hardcore, I gots proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-BSwvDGkc4
Anyways, sweet @ mugwork working.
Ah, I see. Maybe the hills have some sort of significance. I'm not too terribly good at dream interpretations though so I have no clue what it could mean, haha. If you can give a more detailed account of this dream, you could ask Vindicator or White to interpret it - they both seem to be pretty good at that!
That reminds me of a dream I had where a business woman asked me if I was ready, I said yes, and I turned into a wolf and broke outta my screen door and into my foresty backyard. Was weird, didn't understand it.
Also, since it's ridiculously late yet again, I may be going to bed soon.

Ah Kay. Hahahah I go into those hills when I get upset there's trails but there mostly made by me because it's really secluded...the last thing I remember is looking out and seeing alot of clouds and the moon and it looked at me and I looked at it and it just dissapeared
Offline
The moon looked at you? Or was it the wolf that looked at you? You should ask Vindicator to interpret it if you're curious as to what it may mean, I kinda wanna see what he's gotta say about it. He's interpreted several of my dreams and has done a pretty good job at it - White did a pretty good interpretation of a recent dream I had as well.
I wish there was somewhere I could escape to here when I'm feelin' stressed - at the moment, I simply retreat to my bedroom.
Which reminds me, I'm pretty tired, so I'm gonna go to bed in a couple minutes.
Offline
K. No the wolf looked at me like he was bringing me up there for a reason. To show me that view. Idk. Okay have a goodnight heheh
Offline
Ah, I see.
Well, then there's some significance in that.
So yeah, I'd ask for that interpretation, haha. Though I dunno if you've ever spoken to him before...
Alright, g'night!

Hello TM.
How are you doing Today?
Offline
Pretty good! Haven't done much today, much like the last few days. Just been readin' a little more.
I uploaded a picture to my deviantART page, btw.
Something I drew a whiiile ago, hahahaha.
How's your day been?

Glad to hear it! Hahahahahahaha, I saw. I think the mountains, especially on the left are really cool!
My day has been quite well. I have mostly read as well, but I did get outside and mow the lawn.
Offline
Thanks! I drew that on the back of an exam review after I was done with it.
That black scribble btw is where I'd put my real name, hahaha. So yeah. I didn't want the deviantART population to know that...
That's good! I hate mowing the lawn, and I hope you weren't too hot/exhausted afterwards.
That's one good thing about living in an apartment - no lawn-mowing!
Offline
Hahahahahahahahaha, I though that is what that might have been. So are you going to post any more art?
Ah I actually enjoy mowing the lawn as it gives me a chance to just do something mindless and thus I can simply think. It actually isn't all that hot out here yet, we are hanging around in the mid seventies low eighties range.
Offline
Possibly.
But I'm not sure...
I don't enjoy it because it doesn't allow me to think! Too much noise for me!
Ah, well, it's been very hot here. The air conditioner can't even keep up! It was 84 degrees inside earlier. 84 DEGREES. And the air conditioner was set on 72
Btw, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhZ_OLHd … re=related
Ever seen this?
