Ah, I see - not many people I know seem to have lucid dreaming as much as I do.
Also, have you ever woken up in that weird state between sleep & being awake where you're completely paralyzed?
Usually, if you go right back to sleep during that state, your dreams go lucid!
If that ever happens to you, you should try it

Ah yes I have had that happen once, and it terrified me. I fought against the paralysis and ended up flying across my room panting and my heart pounding. I couldn't go back to sleep after that one for quite some time.

Oh!
I'm sorry! It actually happens to me a lot - I guess that's why it doesn't scare me that much. It did the first few times, and I freaked out and broke out of it...then I realized my dreams go completely lucid if I don't freak out and just let myself go back to sleep, and I think that's why I stopped freaking out when it would happen. Also, there was that one time where I woke up in that state and truly felt like I was turning into a wolf!
i'm really surprised I don't meet people who have it happen to them all the time - it's kinda weird.
Or maybe I'm kinda weird.

It does sound quite interesting, and actually I have a few friends who have such dreams so your not alone. My cousin in fact has a individual called "Budinstine" as he is like Buddha and Einstein. He will show up and ask him how he wishes the dream to be changed or what he wishes to see happen. It only ever occurs in that lucid state. Now as for the feeling of turning into a wolf, I have had that during an intense phantom shift in accompany with a mental shift once or twice.

I think I've had those... does it feel like your mind is rolling backwards?

Ah, I see! That's pretty cool, actually, that he has his own little dream buddy! I love dreams, they're fascinating! I love having them, I love talking about them, I love hearing about other people's dreams, and I love your interpretations of the wolf dreams I've spoken about!
During an intense phantom/mental shift, eh? Hmm...I believe I told y'all about the time I'd had that intense feeling of turnin' into a wolf. I'd never had it happen to me that intensely before, I think the fact that I was half-asleep helped out.
I mean, there was one time while I was just sitting down and reading a book where I felt like it was happening, but it wasn't nearly as intense and I was able to ignore it with the simplest of ease and just let it run it's course.

I know it feels like I'm sinking into my bed, which is really odd.
So I guess, in a way, yeah.

I think that must be what happens to me sometimes when I sleep too much in the car. I sort of "jump" out of sleep and for a brief second have this feeling like if I don't get up immediately, I'm going to get "stuck" or something.
Offline
Haha, yeah. It happens that way sometimes. You'll get up, kinda feel like you can move around, but if you don't really actually get up and start movin' in time, you'll freeze. It's really weird, but perfectly natural apparently!
Offline
also, today I don't have a song, but some very kick-ass lyrics.
Offline
Hmmmmm... I wonder if it's the same thing...
Hahahahaha, dang, now I'm disappointed.
Offline
It probably is.
Oh, by the way, I experienced it again last night.
I guess talking about it made it get into my subconscious and yeah...
Also, I posted the wrong song's lyrics, apparently.
Here's the right one.
But whatever, the one I accidentally posted has decent lyrics, even if they're pretty simplistic!

Hahahahaha, dang that stinks.
I'm still disappointed there's no song tonight.
Here's one you might like if you like powerful songs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXhuso4OTG4

Wow...why the hell didn't I pay attention to this before? I know who Styx is of course, but I never bothered to check them out, haha. That song was pretty great.
Also, if you're truly disappointed, here's the actual song that I posted the lyrics for! It has some screaming, but not much - mostly singin', so don't worry - it's not super noisy or anything.

^ That song is making me think of the movie "Silent Hill". I dunno why, but it is.
that's a good thing though since I like that movie.
I wonder if the game is any good...since y'know...the movie was based on a game...

Hmm.... I have never heard of that game, nor the movie. That is very interesting that the movie was good, most game based movies don't do a very well job at portraying it.

Hahahahahaha, I honestly don't know much about Styx outside of Mr. Roboto and Come Sail Away. I accidentally came across that song while searching classic rock the other day and it was actually pretty good!
Hahahahahahahaha, there, now I'm satisfied. I've got random music to check out.

@White: Oh - they did Mr. Roboto?
so I HAVE heard them before!
Yes, that song is very good - much better than Mr. Roboto, in my opinion! I actually wannaa check an album out now
@Vindicator: Honestly, I have no idea if it's a faithful portrayal (I haven't played the game), but as a movie it's pretty well-made - I will admit there is one particular actress in it that I hate, but luckily she's not the main character.... If you're into horror movies, I'd give it a whirl!
It's kinda gruesome, though, so if you don't like gore I wouldn't suggest it.

Ah I love horror movies, especially the ones that actually creep me out. Maybe I'll see if my sister wishes to watch it as she is almost as big a nut as I am for terror. The game would probably be very intense one if the film is scary.

I love horror movies, too! I really, really do.
My favorite horror films are probably the first two "Hellraiser" flicks. After that...they get...well, bad, but those first two flicks are awesome! I also quite enjoy "The Omen" (original), "An American Werewolf in London" (obviously, haha!), the first and third "Nightmare on Elm Street" films, "Event Horizon", "Night of the Living Dead", "Deep Red", "The Hills Have Eyes" (both the original AND remake!), the "Evil Dead" trilogy, the first "Wishmaster", the first "Candyman", "The Fly" remake..the list...goes on.

Hahahahahaha, yeah! Weird eh? You'll have to let me know if they have any other good songs.
Hmmm.... I'm trying to think of some other songs you might like... do you know Collective Soul?
Offline
k, if I get an album, I will!
And I've heard of Collective Soul, but haven't heard them!
I think they're an alternative rock band.
Offline
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha, Fantastic!
I would have to say my all time favorite film is "The Cube 2: Hypercube" from there I also have "An American Werewolf in London" on my list and wow I have yet to meet someone else to have seen all three "Evil Dead!!!" I think the effects are terrible, however those films are so freak'n awesome! Did you see the new one that director created? Another of my favorites is the original "Halloween" and "Fog" with Jamie Lee Curtis.
