Because they hate us! Hahahahahahahahahaha, if only my dreams cooperated...
So how's everything going with you tonight?
Offline
As I said, quiet.
Not much has happened. At all.
I'm hoping I can hang out with a friend of mine tomorrow (well, really, a few hours from now haha) or Sunday, but I'm not sure if we'll be able to.
I actually preferred the weekdays, as people came to my house then.

Well quiet is good right? That sounds like fun if it works out!
How have classes been?
Offline
Ah I wish I had a quite day, sometimes. I think the next one I'll have is going to be after my Chem test in a week from this Monday. So how has school been coming along?
Offline
Good, so far.
I'm behaving well, and haven't gotten into trouble, haha.
I've got decent grades...though I always seem to struggle in math classes.
I guess I'm just not a natural born mathematician.
Offline
Hahahahahahahahahaha, glad to hear it Totali! No fights! Don't worry, I've never been a "math" person either. I don't understand how some people can love it so much!
What's your favorite class you're in right now?
Offline
English, as always, since I get an incredibly high grade every time. It's very easy for me to understand...it's the complete opposite of mathematics...I do excellently in it.
What about you?
Offline
Ah, math is fantastic. At least if your doing Calculus, any others are just a bit dull. Calculus actually explains how you get the lower math and why it works the way it does, which is quite interesting. Although, I wouldn't say it is my favorite.
English eh? I always enjoyed that class, however, I'm glad I am done with my English Credits. So what is it you like specifically about it? The reading books and analyzing it or the grammar stuff?
Offline
The only math that I'm good at is geometry.
Probably the grammar stuff.
I generally don't care for the book we read, simply because we read them for so incredibly long that I get burnt out on them. Not that they're bad books...it's just...when you're reading through the same one for four weeks, it's not very fun, haha. Like when we read "Into The Wild", last year...a book that's less than 200 pages if I remember correctly. Took us forever...there was also the fact that it was just really depressing.
Offline
I do think it is quite interesting how all English books appear to be depressing. I always think it was odd even though it is understandable as it makes you think. My class I like the most was AP Lit we went through a book about every two weeks. I really enjoyed that pace. So Grammar, eh? That is quite interesting. I never cared much for it. So is there something in particular about it that sparks your interest?

Care to take my test for me Vin? You know Calc II right?
I'm with ya Totali, Geometry and Trig were the only two I was ever good at. The bad news? The only math that really matters in college is Algebra.
Ah yes, I know exactly what you mean! I found that I enjoyed reading my summer books much more because I could go at my own pace. Most of time, during the school year, they'd either go too slow or too fast, and I'd end up falling out of it. A good trick is to just go ahead and read at your own pace, then go back and reread things if you need to remember something.

@Vin: I just like knowing the proper way to structure sentences, really. And I like to know where words come from, as well, and the meanings of root words. haha. In fact, I looked this particular root word up once...

@White: What?! I hate Algebra! I basically just barely passed my exams - I'm horrifyingly awful at it. Can't imagine how I'm going to deal with College-level algebra.
Ah well...I can just hire a tutor! Yay!
And yeah, I did that with one book we read last year (I forgot what it was called because I hated it, haha) and ended up getting one of two A's on its exam.
Yes, I'm bragging. I have the right.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha, yeah, Algebra was the worst I ever did in class. I know it's not right to blame anything on anyone, and I truly do believe that I'm just not an algebra person, but a lot of the roots of my difficulties with algebra I trace back to my algebra I teacher. She was out after a month or two to have a baby, so the rest of the year we had a substitute teacher who was not a math teacher, and we pretty much just had "free time" almost every day. On the bright side, that was the time I got rather good at chess... Hahahahahahahahahahaha, it also brings back memories of the game we invented called "shelf ball". Hahahahahahahahahahahaha, good times!

Hahahahahaha. Sorry I love Calculus, however, my knowledge stops about one six of the way into Calc II as we covered Calc I and the opening of the sequel in my AP class.
Ah that is quite interesting. I have been noticing a lot "roots" from words in my Osteology class. I'm glad you have done so well on your tests. It is always nice to have achieved that especially after torture.

Dang it.
Goodnight Totali, I am heading off to bed. Have a great day tomorrow!

I'm jaunting off as well. Have a fantastic night TM. Enjoy your Saturday!

Alright, goodnight to you both!
White, tell me more about "shelf ball" tomorrow.
or...
later, technically.

bump!
Is everyone having an exciting Tuesday?
Offline
Ahem! It's Wednesday here I'll have you know!
Hahaha, but my Tuesday was alright! And how has your day been today Total?
Offline
Ahh!
sorry I didn't come back after that post.
I was very busy.
My Tuesday was...busy.
People over, etc.
How's everyone's Thursday, then?
Offline
Just fine, I guess...
Offline
It was ok.
Offline
Well, I haven't posted in a few days, haha.
How is everyone here?
Offline
Hey TM. I'm doing really well. What have you been up to?
Offline
Nothing, really.
I've had a fairly busy weekend, people coming over, etc.
This hasn't happened in a while, thus I found it exciting.
Also, I keep listening to this song!
How've you been?
