Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

wink

Yeah, during the school year I'm pretty much living off of 6 hours of sleep, and the summer is sort of my "catch up" time. However, because of all my late nights I've been living off of 6-7 hours of sleep like the school year, instead of the 8-10 I like to get during the summer. tongue My solution? Nice long afternoon naps. wink Last night was especially restless though, as I had my first wolf dream in quite some time. tongue

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, yeah, I can tell you weren't waiting all day to bring that one back up. wink tongue What was your first wolf dream like?

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Haha...you're going to think it's weird but this is kinda how it went.
It began with me sitting in a chair around the table at my aunt and uncle's house.  I dunno what the conversation was about, but I know I didn't want to be there so I got up and my uncle started following me.  When I reached the living room, he took out this shot needle thing with like, blue stuff in it and stuck it in my arm.  I ran past him and out to his backyard, and he was following.  I something changing inside me, but I wasn't quite sure what it was.  I looked behind me to see that he'd caught up, and jumped right over a large wooden fence...and landed on the other side as a wolf.  At first I was kinda freaked out, but it felt...well, pretty empowering, so I started to run which turned out to be sheer bliss.  Through most of it, I was just running through a city - though, near the end for some reason, I was a wolf superhero who was saving somebody's life, haha!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how it went. wink
Care to share yours? tongue

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, that's a really cool dream! The reason I'm laughing actually is because I think you'd get a kick out of that story I've been writing forever. tongue

On a serious note, is there any particular reason that your uncle was involved? Have you ever determined any wolf "connections" with him?

When Vin gets here, be sure to show him this dream, he typically does a really good job of breaking them down if you're interested. As for mine, do you mean the one I had last night?

Oh, no.  I hate my uncle, and I'm not exaggerating.  If you knew him, you'd understand why. hmm I don't know why he was involved...at all...

I meant your first one, but you can go right ahead and tell me both! big_smile
And yep, I'll be sure to show him. wink

Maybe the night you had that dream your uncle did something to upset you? Or make you feel like he was after you in some way?

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Hahahahahahahaha, I'm actually glad you made me dig it up, it brought back some memories of when I first joined the forum. (Strange I'd already call those "memories" having only been 4 or 5 months... tongue) Anyhow, here's a copy of my first post ever at the WC, followed by what I consider to be the most memorable wolf dream I've had to date:

Post#1:
As a result of my increasingly frequent dreams, I've finally been compelled to register and become involved with this forum. I guess a little about me, I'm a college student in Southern (North) Florida who could have cared less about werewolves about 5 years ago. Around that time, for no known reason, I began to have dreams about becoming a wolf every couple months or so. I used to joke around with my friends about them, but recently (within the past year or so), they've become more and more frequent to the point that I have one every two to three weeks. While they're all different in details, generally they've all been fundamentally the same in that each deals with me discovering that I'm a wolf (in some cases through a family member) and typically I progress through a transformation before waking up (sometimes not). A couple of months ago it aroused my interest enough that I found this site, and here I am now posting.

I guess a lot of people come here seeking to find out who they are or something like that, whether they're a 'werewolf' or not. I'm really not too concerned with that, because I've been thinking a lot about it recently and I've concluded that frankly, only I know myself. I could hardly expect a bunch of folks on the internet whom I don't even know (yet) to confirm or deny my identity based on a series of checklists. I guess what I'm more concerned with is discovering the answer to the question "Why?" Mostly, I'm concerned with my dreams, as I am probably the most frequent dreamer I know (it is rare for me to go through a night without I dream that I remember in the morning, even years later). If I can discover their meaning, then perhaps I can figure out why this subject so frequents my consciousness. Is it a family thing? Frankly, I have no idea. Am I a werewolf nut? I wouldn't have considered myself one, until this year after these dreams began with such frequency.

Whatever the case, I'm really glad to be here with a group of people who share a common tie. I look forward to talking with each of you in the future, and recounting more of my dreams as they come to me. For now, I'm going to go ahead and go back to bed since my class is over...

Post #2:
Well, I finally got out of that class so now I'm sitting here until my next. I guess I have enough time to relate a couple of my more recent werewolf dreams... Ok, well here's a recent (not the latest) one that I had two weeks ago: It began with me walking down this street near my house in my neighborhood in the middle of the day. As I was walking by the house of one of my childhood friends I heard someone yelling, so I ran up to the front door which was wide open. I poked my head into the house the dark house and was immediately confronted with the scene of my best friend clinging to a cabinet above the kitchen counter (kind of strange that the front door opened into the kitchen, but anyways...) with a very large blackish-gray wolf right beneath him jumping and trying to attack him. I stood there for second when my friend yelled at me to do something, so I ran into the room not sure of my intentions. The wolf pretty much immediately spotted me and more or less ignored my friend and went to attack me. Seeing another cabinet, I climbed up onto that and hung in the air also with the wolf beneath me jumping and barking. That's when things really got interesting... As I was hanging there, the wolf began to talk to me (not sure whether physically or in my head or what), but my friend couldn't hear it. In a nice, calm voice she told me that if I came down, she wouldn't attack me but that it was my destiny to be bitten. She also said that it was my choice either way. I told my friend what I was going to do, and he tried to talk me out of it, but I decided to do it anyways. So I began to climb down, and when I got within reach, the wolf bit me in the calf. It didn't really hurt or anything, but I got down onto the floor and turned into a wolf. I asked what I should do, and I don't remember the reply, but I do remember that I went to stand guard to make sure my friend didn't climb down, and that's when my alarm went off at 6 am and woke me up. Stupid alarm clocks. Anyways, anyone have any comments or ideas what it could have meant?

That's pretty interesting - destiny, eh?  Again, quite interesting read there. yikes Did you have Vinster decipher it for ya?

Your dream reminds me of the one I had with that weird business suit woman, haha:

Time to revive a long-dead thread.  'kay - let's go.

This is one I had a long while ago - I was standing by my screen porch, looking into my backyard, which was a deep forest.  There's this woman in a business suit standing next to me with her arms folded, asking me if I was ready.  I told her yes, turned into a wolf, and bursted through the screen door and into the forest.  I pretty much woke up the minute that happened.  Pretty odd dream.  One of the first wolf dreams I had...not the very first, but one of the first!

And Shuck - I wasn't anywhere near him for days when that dream had happened and was spending the night at a friend's house, so I dunno if that's it.  Though he might have said something to me days and days before that..

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Well, as I mentioned I had my first wolf dream in a while last night... unfortunately, I forgot most of it. hmm What I do remember, and what is somewhat interesting to me, is that this was the first dream in which I do not distinctly remember actually being "turned into" or transforming into a wolf; I was in wolf form the whole time. What I do remember though, is that I was on my way somewhere with this other wolf, who was a friend, when we got caught in a cage. All I remember after that is that it was a trap or something, and somehow we either got out on our own or were let out, but there was some "catch" or consequence to our actions which I do not recall. tongue I really wish I remembered more, but I lost them probably because I was a bit out of routine this morning. hmm

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Well, I'm a morning shower type person (it wakes me up), and normally if I have a really interesting dream during the night, I'm able to go over it in my mind and remember it while I'm in the shower. However, today a friend calling woke me up and due to their schedule, I ended hanging out for a short time before coming back home and showering. I sort of think because of that I ended up forgetting most of what happened. hmm

Hahahahahahahahahaha. Wow, there is another similarity. If I don't take a shower in the morning to fully wake up then my day is thrown off a bit.  I'm sorry it led to you forgetting about your dream, however, if my deduction is correct you'll have plenty more in the future. wink

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha, the only thing I can think of is my parents. Lately, more and more, I have this very unnerving suspicion that they're "on" to me, and I think it's made me a little more cautious in acting in any way "therian" around them.

Hahahahahahahahahaha, yeah, most of my friends have a cup of joe to wake up... all I need is a nice steamy shower. wink For some reason I believe you. wink

Why are you afraid your parents are on to you, dude? yikes

I don't have any "special way" of waking up...I mean, I generally will play an album and listen to it for a bit before getting out of bed, so I guess that could be considered a way of getting myself ready to face the day. tongue

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

random note: I'm really mad now because I just found out that the government is planning on scrubbing the moon program. neutral

Well, I know for a fact that my folks have seen my story when it's been up on the computer screen and that they've seen some of my drawings (and obviously the painting I did which is out in the living room), so there's all of that which might lead them on. But also, I don't know, I just have this growing idea that they're starting to connect all of those things with staying up late at night on the computer and everything... and possibly the fact that for the past three months I've been going up the stairs on all fours. tongue tongue

It's actually easier to go up stairs on all fours, haha! tongue They'll probably just think you're interested in werewolves, is all.  I wouldn't worry about it. smile People've seen me log onto here before, and that's what they think about me. big_smile

Wait their doing What!!!???

I can understand the paranoia, however, I don't think that is enough to connect it directly as well. It probably is more as TM says, they have noticed that you have a stronger interest but nothing more. I have similar cases where I am continually showing my father and sister what I'm working on and they shrug it off as just an interest/hobby of mine. wink

I was looking forward to putting people back on the moon. It would've been cool! sad

I remember when I used to go on here in high school. I don't think anyone ever paid attention to it. I was always so paranoid though. I'd try to scroll down to hide the banner at the top. My parents know I'm on here though. I think the only time they cared was when they thought it was interfering with my school work (which it wasn't, I'm just not good at everything unfortunately tongue)

OYE! That is ridiculously frustrating. I can't believe that, and Aries too it was surposed to be much better than the shuttle.......wow.....
