Always have beena big fan of madame X...probably beccause of my love of The Specter. Still one of the most underated and ill-used superhero characters in comics. But the other books are solid. But seriously...what would ya'll spend you're sapre time reading this summer? especially any new or re-unearthed Werewolf stuff. Perssonally...I'm reading Sabine Baring-Gould's 19th century book of Werewolve's again. It's lots of story and myth. You can still find re-prints of it around and it's awsome! Try a search for the author in Google or Yahoo.

Dunno; probably just that there really haven't been any comic conventions here (except one other small one), and the folks at Casablanca Comics in Portland wanted to make it happen. Ask them www.casablancacomics.com.

Okay...guess it's the College Prof in me...This is a favorite excersise I do with my students....I would like to ask ya'll to read something and then test your chops as writers...Change the ending to a classic mystery or horror tale.
Try to get either the other readers angry, sympathetic, empathetic, or just irritated by the characters or story.
Change it to something more satisfying...or something more bizarre...whatever...and to make it even more fun...try a classic story we all know and then post the changed ending.... Just a couple of paragraphs should do it.
So now you can be Stoker, King, Stevenson. , Lovecraft, Rice...Do the experts one better! I've always said and truly believe that if you read ...you CAN write.
Okay, School's out and summer break's assignment is given.... Take your time and let’s see what gets posted over the summer.
Now, I want to see who is good with PhotoShop and make Fuzzball her Queen of the Nerds costume. Yep, the Werewolf Cafe'...your home for creative Lycans!

I'm with you brother! Dang! Okay the entire fiction/horror section and the Dewey decimal system aside...this is a challenge for yourselves. You see, being a writer or an artist takes great self-motivation. No one is gonna make you sit in that chair and create something out of your head. You have to do it yourselves!
Now, what will this achieve? It will give you greater understanding of creative process, teach you to be creative yourself and give you a great appreciation for Art, Literature, film. And most important of all...Either make you a writer or artist yourself or give you a greater ability to meet the folks who do this kind of work and really impress them with your understanding of what you enjoy about them and their work.
So, give a try and see what happens. You're gonna be pretty surprised and pretty happy with your selves if you really try it.
Okay, I have to go back out to the playground and finish up recess... now the rest of ya’ll just keep….Sweet Mother of Pearl!
Blue just threw a mud ball at Wolfsongx, which missed him and hit Wolf Montana in another forum which is now prompting an intra-mural forum fight. Le LoupGarou just jumped off the monkey bars landing on Swamp thing and breaking his pencil. Uh-oh… Fuzzball just nailed the Busboy with a tree frog...okay this is way outta control. LOL!
