I have 2 characters in which I adore, and both of which I killed in my book. Does that make me evil?

No, just heartless
I once had a candy I loved.. but I ate it. I think it was a chocolate Easter Bunny.
As for imagining, I imagine myself in another form and another, that won't stop running away and getting me into trouble.. poor chocolate Santa Village.

:'(
That's so sad! I could kill a sub-character, like in my story Kessler kills his father, but if I killed Kessler or Zeeva, I couldn't live with myself. Especially since Kessler Ovid has existed for years in multiple stories of mine.

Here's a portrait I absolutely adored on DA. I tried to incoprotate 16 shades of gray, but I am SO pissed with my scanner. Not only does a hideous line show up in the middle of it, but 99.9% of the quality is lost to the stupid thing. I had to increase the conrtrast significantly!

Even so, that's very good, Punx.

That looks great! I can see your portraits are getting better and better.
Unfortunately, you're probably not gonna find a scanner that scans pencil they way you want it to. The only way to really make sure that it looks good digitally, is to use a tablet, but that's quite something else.
I can try to remove the line in Photoshop... Give me a minute.
EDIT: How's this?
I couldn't get rid of it entirely, but it's almost gone.

YOU'RE PERFECT!
THANKS! *Hugs*
No more lines
And yeah, I wish It would show the shading better, since that's what I do so much of.

No problem
Have you tried to see if there's some settings that change the contrast and brightness you scan with?

Pff, no one reads the manual! You're supposed to push buttons until something happens.

His name should be...Frank
Oh, and I don't mean this in a bad way, in fact it's a cool idea, but I think that the vampire looks a bit like a young Snape!
Holey smokes...
Frank is the name of my recently diseased cat...

So I finally found a printer setting that didn't include lines. It still murdered the shading, though. Grrr, I'm angry. I adjusted contrast and midtones for it to even show up!
I spent 9 hours on this thing and I got 17 shades in , though you can't see it...

Very cool! I love the eyes.
