Hey! mega con was amazing! I'll be giving details out as soon as we get Castillo back from the lost and found.
Swamp Thing was there along with our web guy/colorist Vince Vinson and we shook the room. Bubba is back with a vengence and the best compliment of the weekend went to master artist, William Stout, who actually asked other folks at the show to see the books. Then after he saw them...he asked to be sent home to recover. LOL! great guy and met so many good folks it was the reason why we do shows and why you should too if you can. We heard about lots more new shows in areas that don't usually get them, so keep an eye on the comic con websites and your local store for details! The Bubba 09 parade of goofiness is out on the road this year and will be out to ya'll!

Is there still going to be a" Bubba Movie" or has that hit yet ANOTHER road block?

Well it seems to fit,as I read the other post about all the big name guys he has behind the movie, but for some reason nothing is happening. But I guess there is a reason for everything

So are you saying you don't like Bubba? Or are you trying to speak of the film apparently being dead in the water?

Well, well ...another dissenter set upon the Bubba verse. Okay, like every film went perfect. Why don't you look up how long it took get spiderman to the screen? Ask good ol' Billy Tucchi about his film version of "Shi"? Billy is a fine person and a good fella. But all that aside, things just didn't work out. There are listed on the web a dozen other concepts that wind up in"option" limbo too. This is when a property is picked up, but held by the studio. They can hold a property for years.
So, the film you speak of is over and gone. The web takes forever to take down the wrong info. I'm an FCC licensed broadcast journalist because I was in Radio and TV back in the early 90's. So, what you're doing is suppositioning without credible source. In other words...the web is what you nake of it. And I make of you...a typical "Stink"stirrer who as far as I'm concerned will not get a response from myself or my real fans after this post. Have a great life and make sure ya eat all yer Gerbers mashed bananas, son.

And X-Men. And Fantastic 4. And Constantine. There's been a Sandman film in the rumor works for years; same for Lenore.
So, yeah. Basically, it seems that studio people wait on that sort of thing until they are pretty much certain it'll sell (which is no real indication of quality).
