Anyone know where to buy older editions of Bubba? I'm trying to coax people into buying it for me for my Birthday coming up soon, but the only Bubba I see for sale is one about Romania.

I got some form www.milehighcomics.com the rest I had to hunt for. The issue 6 with Blue's comic in it I had to bid for on E-bay.

Actually, disco was the hottest during the 70's, not the 60's.

On the sibject of BUBBA back issues, they are harder to find than an honest politician these days but you can track some down through Ebay or as Blue eyes mentioned; Mile High Comics who purchased a good amount of them from Mitch-these would be the issues prior to the most recent release; "Rumble in Romania".
Just go to ebay and type in bubba redneck werewolf or close to that and they should come up-as for "Rumble" and the next upcoming issue(s) of our resident chaw-chewin Lycan just visit his new home at; www.scaretactixgraphix.com

Yes...I'm aware of that. But since I wasn't doing much more than potty training and getting sent to the principles office during the 60's, I figured we could jump a head a few years. Didn't mean to confuse you.

Stayin’ alive… Stayin' alive…Ah…Ah…Ah …Ah….Stayin’ Alive...
Hey folks...I'm back from my sabbatical in Cracker County's re-hab program. That’s where rednecks go when they've just been gettin' too sophisticated and dancin' the bump and the hustle to death metal music. LOL! Actually Tommy Castillo and I have been doing the theme park circuit and a show or two promoting our stuff and so now I'm home and back ion the groove. So, first...Disco was what it was. Away to dress up way too much and drink stuff that only a mule should be given as tranquilizer! I know, I was discotheque bartender when i was 18 -21. Drinking age was lower then. also the IQ levels. The Beatles were great as were the stones, the dead, the who, the eagles and all the other "the's".
As for Bubba back issues...High quality comics can help you out as can Mile high. Now, I just went over to my brother's house for T-day and lo and behold...he had a few issue 7's, 4's 5's and couple of Sci-fi specials. I can manage to sell what I have here to you guys, but move fast and I don't have more than four or five of each.
3 bucks per book plus postage...so move yer furry butts kiddies to catch them while I got them. Yeah, I could get more for them and blah, blah.
Nuts to that! You guys want them and ya'll are pack brothers...so lets' get them to my REAL fans!
Bubbawolf@hotmail.com gets yer order in!
Now the 7's are great, but the number 5's were a horror show. The story was great, but Brian Graham was in a funk and did a terrible job on the art. The inker left some pages in his leaky car trunk, and another artist who I owed a favor to, did a crappy art job on the back up story. Number 4 was an experiment that turned out weirder than a four legged parrot with one wing. Gotta remember folks, back then I had a publishing partner who was not the sharpest tool in the shed and I had little control outside of story for a few issues. that's why number 7, numbers 2 , 3 and number 1 were still good stuff. the sci-fi issues were done entirely by myself , Shawn, Larry Williams and Matt smith... along with Chris Beranek at silent devil ( now the co-head of disney's Kingdom Comics line) giving us full sway. Smart man that Chris B is.
And 'Rumble in Romania' is what happens when I have full charge of this book. And with one pixilated page (not my fault but a printers error and not theirs either when a file corrupts right on the print line), we did a fine job and will continue to do so. Thanks to Scaretactix letting me be editor in chief and having faith in what I can do when allowed to.
So, happy Yuletide and here we go into the sand…no snow in FLA. But I wish I had a better rhyme for sand. Cause here we go into the snow rocks….
Stayin’ alive…Stayin’ alive…LOL!

Oh yes I remember.... Artist problems, inker problems, lateness and you also had a series of hurricanes to deal with too.
I'm glad that the fan-powered issue (# 6) came out ok. That was lots of fun to do for us first-timers.
Offline
That was probably my favorite issue of all. We're gonna do it again real soon!

Cool!

Keen! It would be great to see how the other artists, writers, inkers handle Bubba.

If they plan to do that, I'm sure RealDealBubba will tell you how to be part of the new fan-powered issue.
