Re: WolfMontana's Forum

I read "The Wild" in two sittings!

I balled my eyes out at the end.

It's good.  Quite good.

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

I know I must have near that many, because I've been putting them into a storage unit volume by volume . . . box by box . . . bag by bag.  Funny thing -- I was storing them with the intention of moving soon from my little crackerbox apartment to a bigger place.  But with them gone, this place isn't so bad.

Wait -- my PC and printer take up all of my kitchen table -- and I can fit in either furniture or more tables to spread drawings or maps or -- well -- things I'm studying on.  Not both.

Heck, ten times a day I want to spread a magazine, a story, or a drawing pad out on something to examine it -- but there's no place to do that -- so I put it away and forget it.  No wonder I'm going nowhere fast!

Yeah, I know the feeling. I tried to get inspiration in my room, but It's so messy and small (8 feet by 9 feet).
So I go out to the small living room and make a mess of it.

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

Punx, here's WolfMontana's original howl in the wilderness concerning "The Wild":

http://www.forum.werewolfcafe.com/viewtopic.php?id=946

As a matter of fact, I was googling for any info on the book last year and clicked on that very thread -- that's how I discovered the Cafe in the first place!

So if I ever do anything to embarrass the Cafe, Monty's to blame. smile

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

Don't be fooled!  It's probably a dodgeball with legs and a tail glued on!  Just one of their many tricks to get into your good graces.

So Monty never knew the joys of dodgeball, eh?  Never heard that dreaded "BANCH - BANCH" sound of up to 50 burgundy-red rubber spheres bouncing off the gym floors, walls, and your fellow warriors' flesh?  Never encountered that one semi-deflated ball your enemies could pinch up into a little handle so they could hurl it into your face with the force of a mortar shell?  Never been the last one standing, scampering back and forth like a rat to avoid the other sides' final barrage?

Actually, since each team had to stay on its side of a line across the middle of the gym, you could avoid the bullet for quite some time if you were alert.  But occasionally the coach --

*Zage wearing coach's white baseball cap blows whistle.*

ZAGE:  Red-Liiiiiiine!!!"

*Team of Cafe werewolves charges across the dividing line carrying dodgeballs.*

AMAROK: Nooooooo!!!

BANCH - BANCH - BANCH - BANCH - BANCH - BANCH
