You're not fooling me, Amarok, because "Mr. Gordon Shumway" is better known as ALF the alien TV star who happens to be a cat-eater !!!

I remember that show and the 80's cartoon spinoff with him and his family on the planet Melmac.

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

I was wandering by the woods when suddenly a giant tabby cat padded out.

"I am Semeel, the Guardian," it said:

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/views/li … -20454277/

". . . And I'm tired of the cat-eating jokes!"

So I gave a big goofy smile and promised to clean up my act.  So no more ill-considered kitty jokes.

"And by the way," said the cat on the way back to the woods, "that guy upstairs with the tat?  Out to get you." yikes

Yep and there was another animated spin-off which ALF, his family and friends spoofed fairy tales and classic stories. It was called ALF Tales

I thought it was nice that, for once, when a mysterious creature was reported, it was definitely described as being benevolent -- a guardian, as it called itself.  Didn't keep 'em from levelling its forest for a new block of flats and a carpark, though. hmm

I noticed an ad on the same page for "McGruff online security" -- "Keep your children safe."  Guess the torch has been passed on, so to speak.  Take a bite out of crime!

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

Since the designers of the above caption to the above photo made the rather startling and unexpected comparison of the red fox in the photo to the graphic of a red fox on the Firefox logo, and, in seeing said fox's pursuit of a wee mouse for satisfaction of certain vulpine culinary inclinations, did decide to continue their comparison to the aforementioned browser and allude to the mouse being a 'file', so as to elicit a hearty chortle and be recognized as maestros of picture captioning in the hearts and minds of lolcat-o-philes everywhere.

...At least, that's what the voices tell me. tongue

lol  Very nice.  Firefox should call is pouncing a file instead of locating a file.  lol

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

I had to download files from a disk to make my new mouse work.  I didn't know you had to do that.  (Usually have everything done by my computer geek friend).
