I just ordered my Bubba special from scaretactix. I am eager to see just what this highly-anticipated story will be like but given it's from my comic book mentor Mitch Hyman I do not doubt.

Sad news for all comic fans and fans of comic art, we lost yet another big name in the genre with the sudden passing of Artist/Creator Michael Turner at the age of 37. Mike lost his long struggle to cancer this past weekend.
Of course people familiar with his work best know him from his creation of such popular characters like "Witchblade","Fathom", and "Soulfire" and founder of Aspen Comics. Our sincerest condolences go out to Mike's family...GOD BLESS

Aw BUMMER! I mat him last year at the San Diego Comic-Con and liked his Aspen Comics' SHRUGGED which I guess now that it wouldn't be finished....

Just read it. Bubba is good as ever, the comedy good and the action great. Ahh, it's so great to have Bubba back in the comics again and am looking forward for the next issue. The Bubba/Bobbi-Jo poster and the color Bubba logo T-Shirt are great bonus items to go with the comic.
Just one thing... Page 8 (Bubba surrounded by little people) has a jarring pixeled look because the computer didn't smooth the lines out.

Who would like to see Cadre reunited with the Bubba crew to bring you some really tight inks to some astounding pencils?
Would you all be interested in a hillbilly from Kentucky working on a Redneck Werewolf book from Florida? hmmmm?
Let us know!

I wish! No tables left and so I won't be going. I love that show though! Lots of costumes and great art. I'll be in Harrisburg PA for a store signing August 2 (My Birthday) and then I'll be at a bunch of other cons starting in late September. So, next year...I am so gonna make Dragon Con though...no matter what!

DragonCon is ALWAYS in Atlanta, GA.

Yeah...and I'm pretty much ALWAYS in Maine. I needed another reason to go, besides it being way cool and Voltaire www.voltaire.net going to be there.

Well, Fuzz...ya gotta take that leap of faith one day and try to make it down there. But I know that Voltaire has done "chiller" in New York and Fangoria as well...thsoe might be easier for you to get to. No matter what...one day you'll feel like or be able to get toa show and see your performer. He's good. I've seen him here in Fla and one time it was he and GWAR appearing at the same show. Very cool...but very messy! LOL!

Well, if I have the time I might be able to attend but between flight costs and being uncertain if I'll be attending college at the time it'll be a tricky tightrope to walk - all I have on my side is fact I got about a year to plan.
Most likely no, barring me having extra money and extra time.
