I have to say... I'm disappointed in the long time Bubba fans for not going to the new Scare Tactix Forums and NOT registering... my feelings would be hurt if I was Bubba.
Offline
Thanks Cadre and SW!
But...Hell, ya couldn't hurt Bubba's feelin's unless ya stopped broadcasting NASCAR on non cable channels! LOL!
Ya'll get over there when ya can and better still after ya'll order and see the new Bubba and the other books. Then you'll have somethin' to talk about. Plus it's kinda like the first day of a new school or job...you look around and you're kinda gettin' a feel for the place. Or at least if the rest of the folks there have the same "deer in the headlights" feelin' you got! Just do like the first day of summer in a newly opened pool...slow and easy for most. For you hardier souls...just dive on in! But always remember to come back here to the Cafe'. Cause this is the Bar or hang out after work or school. It's just what the Busboy created here...OUR place for the Lycan empowered! Now we have two places to yak at and we'll send new folks from the STG site over to here as well and so the Bubba army marches on!
Damn...I really am glad I'm not teachin' this summer...I've been spendin' WAY too much time in the classroom this year! LOL!

Speaking of well Travelled...Sprit Wolf is back! Say hello when ya get time ya'll!

Well, I'll give the brief version of the Pirate tale...When I was younger and more daring wolf...I listened to too much Jimmy buffet music and decided in the late 70's to bum my way through the West Indies and the British Virgin Islands.
(By the way...I have actually been to the real treasure island. Norman Island BVI.)
Anyway...I was a windsurfing instructor here in Fla and a bartender and so I wound up working as a crewman on a fairly infamous schooner that took tourists around the islands. One time I was late getting to the ship, from let's just say a rather bawdy and dangerous two day leave. My ship was out in the harbor making for the open sea. It's true...time and tide wait for no man and when the skipper is a tough old Scotsman...it's twice as true. Luckily,I was friendly with several fisherman in the area and grabbed a longboat with the intent of returning it as soon as we got back. I had no idea that this was an act of Piracy and was now being sought for this crime by the local authorities.
Upon my return I was literally put in irons and taken to a place where for about two weeks my best friend was a bucket. The skipper was disgusted with me and probably was the one who turned me in as he wasn't happy about berthing the "Borrowed" longboat. The rules of the sea and captains are harsh, kiddies. If it wasn't for some good friends I'd made in town and a healthy bribe (Consisting of all the pay I'd made) to the owner of the boat, who then dropped all charges...I'd still be there today and look like Papillon did after his time on devil's island. Or Dead from execution as that was and I believe still is the penalty.
I was able to make some money to get home about two months later...But this involved dockwork loading nutmeg and other spices, a late night almost shanghai, some pretty pissed off smugglers and two very peculiar old ladies who made some serious moonshine rum in the rainforest...along with these funny looking dolls and bags that did some really odd things.
Ahh, a tale for another day. Right now...I'm going over to watch SpongeBob with Swamp Thing. Now order some comics and stuff, so NY Wolf can get us some more Bubba books going!

Voodoo + moonshine = bad.
Offline
All depends if ya mix 'em! LOL!

And how you mix them. Voodoo before moonshine might be alright; moonshine before voodoo could have interesting results. Drunk zombies wrecking the competition's still...eek.

Okay... I'm lookin' forward to ya'll posting here at the cafe about the new issue when ya get it!

Okay, Ya'll let's hear it for Wildwolf.
That's pretty serious stuff..getting a Con and an award sponsorship. the best thing about new conventions and ones put on by folks who really love the comics and not just some show run by
a corp is that these are the type of shows that fans really get the best of everything! Whoever shows up goes because they enjoy the biz and the folks who make it work through their support. That being...YA'LL!
So, I'll be seeing what I can do to help Wild wolf out. Besides...They got some serious Bar B Q up in that neck of the woods! LOL!
And Wolf Songx...We look for ward to waht ya think of the newest Bubba. Thanks!
One last thing...We've decided to hold the forums section at STG for a bit. This is due to with all the projects we have going and the travelling we're doing over the next few months...we just feel that we're too scattered to do ya'll right. Plus we're having too much fun here at the cafe. LOL!
Hey I'm like Bubba...Loyal to my truck, beer, woman and of course my favorite posting site!
