It's nice to see pictures of weres expressing something other than anger or hunger -- like curiousity.smile

I'm not sure exactly what Montana meant since I am not them, but it looks to me as if it is a bit smaller and the muscles are ropier than the forearm.  Isn't nature usually the other way around?

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

ah...I really don't know. The forearm on the far arm should look the same as the close arm, except the angle it's at makes it look shorter/thicker compared to the front arm... it might look like the two arms are different.

As for the upper arm/forearm muscle ratio....it just came out that way.

I suppose I could argue that a wolf's front legs have a longer "forearm" in relation to the "upper arm" than a human, which if that translated to a werewolf might make the proportions look a bit odd, but would allow for easier transitioning between running on 2 legs and running on all fours....

I could argue that....but I won't because this was a very quick drawing by my standards....so there are going to be some mistakes I didn't spot. tongue

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Just one little thing -- aren't canine's forearms usually pretty skinny?

Hmmm I like this one's face especially (though all of its good!) because of the less fur obscuring it.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Well, apparently I'm having another growth spurt....6'4" isn't enough for me I guess....I smacked my forehead REALLY hard on the edge of the ceiling at the bottom of my stairs earlier this evening....

this is what I doodled down shortly after.

his name is Chester.

he's having a bad day.

I know there are numerous things wrong with this picture...but honestly I don't care. At the time I was trying to keep my mind off of a possible concussion.

Re: Howlitzer's werewolf art

Looks like Chester got his head smacked too...but with something more closely resembling a pile of rocks than a beam.

Bummer about you head man.  I felt about as bad when I had my accident about 4 weeks ago.  I had a nasty gash on my head.  I love the picture thou.  I love the way you do the pads on the front and hind paws.
