He does make awesome ones, doesn't he?  I keep the ones he sends me (and keeping cards just to look at is not a habit of mine).  Blue, you aughtta do something with that.  Don't be embarrassed; Robert Crumb worked for Hallmark.

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

Big news folks!
Scare Tactix Graphix will be publishing a new werewolf story in "Midnight at the Cathouse Theater" #2. It's called "Bangkok Moon".  Pages and cover to be posted soon!
The story  is by yours truly and art by former Marvel artist Frank Turner.

Synopsis: A renegade Werewolf wanted by US authorities and Interpol tries to hide out in the steamy streets of  the Thai capitol, but there are other forces and creatures of far east legend who have reasons of their own to hunt down and confront this feral serial killer.

Also....A deal has finally been struck and more Bubba is on the way from his new home at Scare Tactix!
Join Bubba as he begins his new adventures that will take him and a few of the 'Cracker County' crew on new adventures across the world! Yep!  Bubba's goin' International!

Hell, and ya'll thought global warmin' was causin' problems. LOL!

So Bubba is going around the world.... I don't think the world will not recover from him. lol

Can you imagine what would happen if the Queen of England asked Bubba to join her for a cup of tea?

She definitively wouldn't be amused. wink

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

Thanks Cadre! Yeah...it was about four years ago that I first worked up that script.  Frank  Turner is doing an outstanding job on it and the main Werewolf  looks about as large and in charge as Frank made  Luke Cage look back in the day.

Glad Cadre that you're making it to Mega-Con...there's a lot to talk about. Scare Tactix Graphix will be doing a diversity of high end projects.  This company is set up and funded to do great comics and much more!

And by the way folks send me e-mail WITHOUT cc or Bcc otherwise it goes into the junk folder!

See ya'll who are coming to the show in a couple of weeks!

Wow - that says something if you get an artist good enough to merit Marvel's attention. yikes

What issues for Marvel has Frank done before?  I'd like to see his exmples.

Re: Bubba The Redneck Werewolf Comic: Honorary Forum

Frank?  He did Cage, New Warriors and Justice before he left comics to work on animated TV shows like Extreme Ghostbusters and other stuff. Frank is coming back to the game because I asked real nice! LOL! Seriously he wanted to find an artist friendly company with  attitude and also he's an old friend ...so all this is what made the deal work.

NOW...

THI IS IT!!!   I just came back from Swamp Things lair...and...It's set! It's happening for real!

BUBBA IS BACK!!!

The new Bubba comic will be available for June!  It will be in limited convention edition for the summer and orderable from the Scare Tactix web site. It will not be in Previews till the fall or winter...so if you want the next issue of Bubba...Stay tuned to the Cafe for details of where and how to get it!

Wait till ya see this one! Swamp Thing and our other artists will all be adding to the Bubba mix...this will be the highest quality Bubba done yet!

Plus... this is the story that will kick off Bubba's tour around the world. This new set of adventures will feature lots of surprises and collectible covers from some of the biggest names in the biz.  AND...Scare Tactix is now having our design gremlins work up a line of merchandise to support the new series. So T-shirts, hats, Bubba junk to lose in your house or truck and a special TOY are on the boards and comin' your way soon!  Plus all the other stuff we're making to go along with the other books ...you'll always have something to enjoy from this new and innovative crew of folks.

Y'know... it's kind of like that Restaurant chain that's run by Chef's.

Scare Tactix...we've been real quiet...but that's about to change. heh...heh...

Now where did I put the key to the footlocker I keep the fat lady in...?
