Rogue is right, a lot of things change about my host's...*searches for right word* physique when I control him.  some others that we've come to trust have said its almost like a complete Aura change... I don't think I'd go that far.... as far as my eyes go, my host's tend to change from a dark forest green to a dark water blue throughout the day, but you can always tell when your talking to me because my eyes are more a hard yet very bright glowing green.  And yes I do tend to hold myself differently, as I am just a bit taller than my host.  The hair... I dunno about that, but I say as long as I can see it's alright.  And Aye my voice is quite lower than my host's. *grins*

It's weird. It's like I'm the host, but at the same time, I have all the wolf extinces all the time. Maybe that's what you guys are talking about... I like to think it this way. Human body, wolf's brain. Make sense?

Re: Werewolves, please read

You do realize that very drastic eye color changes are common among mainstream humans.

A little less mainstream - there is a case of a person with multiple personality disorder who has one alter that has diagnosable diabetes and another that does not.

THere are quite a lot of changes out there that might be startling but they are very much within the realm of "normal" humanity.

Re: Werewolves, please read

Yeah, but I hope you know what I'm talking about.

As it is, some of us (I'm assuming that you're one of us, but Internet being what it is.....) are not "normal humans" and we may easily confuse variations in "normal humanity" with things that make us different - changes in eye color is one I run into a lot. That just isn't something that distinguishes us from the rest of humanity. Neither are changes in posture, shifts in muscle groups that might make a person's form alter, metabolic shifts, and other startling changes.

Re: Werewolves, please read

So WolfVanZandt, what do you classify as not a "normal human".I have had no physical shift(yet)but I still consider myself a therian and one day a full werewolf.

Re: Werewolves, please read

I believe in aural shifts - I probably don't explain it the same way you would but that's beside the point - they exist. As for whether they're a characteristic of Therianthropy - not uniquesly. Mainstreamers have aural shifts - they just don't have them the way we have them - so the way we shift is different.

For some reason, we don't function like most humans and it's not a matter of degree. There's some intrinsic differences that cause us to be the way we are. I, personally, believe that it's differences in our physiology and espeially (but not only) our brain "wiring". Our immune systems also seem to be different - perhaps there are some hormonal differences. I wish I had the wherewithall to map all this out but, unfortunately, I don't.

I don't discount the posibility of physical shifts, but I doubt it very much. I've been in the RL Werewolf community for 7 years now in a position that brings me into physical contact with a lot of Werewolves and I haven't seen a hint of anything that looks like a real P-shift. That doesn't mean it's not possible - it jstmeans that I'm going to have to have some evidence before I start talking about it as though it were real.

As it is, if you're a Wolf Therian, you're probably as much a Werewolf as you'll ever be. You already have the most important parts of being a Werewolf - being able to change your shape would be minor compared to what you already potentially have.

Re: Werewolves, please read

WHOOPS.
When I said P-shift, i ment a phantom or astial shift. Sorry
And I agree with you.
As for the immune system, I personally don't get sick. I will get sick once a year and it's always at the same time.
My immunity system is so strong, I could eat someone else's food while they are sick. A friend could accidentally cough in my face and I will not get sick. When someone in my family gets sick, they pass it on to the next person, and when it gets to me, it stops. Sometimes it scares me that I don't get sick....

Re: Werewolves, please read

I kind of know but I'm not sure.
I think it's like energy waves that eradiates from the body. Depending on the feel and look of an aura, you can telll someone's mood and possibly other things...But don't take my word for it, I was just guessing.
