Re: WolfMontana's Forum

hey, if you want to learn how to draw and you really don't seem to get it....

practice circles, shading the circles so they look like spheres....that's probably the most important part...

then move on to other shapes...

then get back to me...

Sorry Blue sad

Oh, it's ok, BlackWolfDS.

When I draw a female werewolf, I often give them long flowing hair/fur, clawpaints, long eyelashs, hourglass figures and top it off with a flower or a fur bow on the head.

Awww!! That sounds sweet.. I like drawing female werewolves with long hair and big bushy tails that sorta wave at the end.. hehe at least thats how i draw myself.. and i love doing details on the eyes.. especially when i draw me.. lol sorry im rambling.

I am a wolf,
I'd never want to be anything more.
And I hope that even after I'm gone,
there will be wolves forevermore.

but yeah, i was jus sayin that i thought it was funny that you thought Blue was a girl because earlier, Blue thought wp was a girl, and i jus thought it was ironic. knamean?

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

Okie, just got through watching the Richard Donner Cut of Superman II. big_smile

SPOILERS >> SPOILERS >> SPOILERS >> SPOILERS >>

Strummer got me the 14 disk collectors box for an early Christmas present (woot!!) have to say, it's pretty cooool. The Donner cut had alot more in it then I thought it would and was well made - no obvious stand ins, no sub standard footage. Overall I think it's much better than the Lester version, though I have a problem with the reuse of a certain implausible device from the 1st film. big_smile But! BUT!!! GONE IS THE CELLOPHANE BAD GUY WRAPPER SUPERMAN SHIELD!!!! YES!!! big_smile And there's a brilliant reworking (though I guess the Lester version is the rework) of Lois' first attempt to expose Clark as Superman. It was soo much fun. smile

Actually, there was a time that I thought Black Shuck was a man but she didn't tell us that she was really a female until a few weeks later and AFTER I made a picture of the "male" Black Shuck and (the OTHER) Black Wolf fighting over JamieD.

Maybe they just wanted to make the suit look a bit more current.

Actually I was referring to the cheesy moment in Supes II (the original) where Supes pulls a weird sheet off of his own shield that he throws at one of the bad dudes and somehow it grows and wraps up said bad dude. It looks for all the world like a big cellophane 'S' logo.

I always thought it was completely ridiculous and it was never used before in any medium and never used since. I'm just thrilled the Donner cut got rid of it. big_smile

Thinking of it more, there's only one bit that's slightly jarring in the movie. I knew they were going to use test screening footage and you can see the difference in Chris Reeve's physique in those scenes. But they jump from a rather startling and tense conclusion to that footage, to Lois and Supes flying to the fortress, obviously completely enamored with each other. That transition is the only thing that didn't flow really well.

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

It's all good. wink

I think I ranted a little about the 'new look' down in the other movies forum, but I gotta say it again. It really bugs me that they made the new suit looked like he'd been wading through a river of mud. I know it's a tough line to walk, the bright red, blue and yellow, but I think going with the darker stuff was a cop out. I know we're all so much more 'cynical' now and everything's dark dark dark, but I would've liked them to have the balls to do the full colors AND find someone who could pull it off. And it would probably take someone with a much bigger build than Routh (ie, someone closer to Alex Ross's supes: http://www.sequart.com/superman/poster.JPG ). It's like they got all meek about it, had to shrink that shield down, we don't want that standing out too much, etc etc.

Gyah, sorry. Ranting!! *smacks self* Completely geeking out too!! big_smile

... if anything, they could have darkened the blue, but kept that red RED, not brown. wink

*stops*

*starts* And god knows, if I saw someone with Alex Ross' Supes' build walking around with their underwear on the outside I wouldn't be saying anything about it. wink Specially if he had the habit of starting fires with his eyes and lifting aircraft carriers for a mild workout.

Btw. I kinda like Superman. Just clearing that up. big_smile
