Whoa Whoa Whoa, take it easy, Howlizter! I like SpongeBob SquarePants too and I have his movie on DVD as well. What I meant that "weird" is the order of the day in SpongeBobUniverse.

*sings* Ooooooooooh, who lives in a pineapple under the sea?...

GGrrrrrr....

<smallville rant>
Okay, that's IT. I am SO damn SICK of the writers of this show treating Clark like a big dumbass. WHAT the FORK ARE THEY THINKING?!?!? Why the hell would a guy who can see THROUGH almost anything, and HEAR for miles around be surprised in a dark warehouse by a HUGE FREAKIN' dude hiding behind a cart a few feet away breathing way too heavily?? How the heck is that possible?? Someone tell me this, please?! *bangs head against wall repeatedly* This show used to be impressive, and while tonights episode wasn't a total suck (and woot! cool Martian Manhunter debut!) I don't understand why they repeatedly forget that Clark Kent aka the Big Blue Boy Scout aka >>SUPERMAN<< for freakin' sakes, has abilities beyond being able to smack things hard and shrug off bullets.

AAAUUUGHHHH!!! yikes yikes *bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang*

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

you mean when he *vanished* trying to go back and save the waitress???

no...he didn't come back during that episode...

but in the last part of the episode when Mohinder was doing the narration they did a shot of the Cafe, then they zoomed in on the bulletin board in the Cafe with all the pictures on it, and it showed a polaroid photo from some time earlier of the waitress and Hiro wearing party hats... it wasn't there before, which means he DID go back in time... ::dramatic music::

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

I think he's just a nasty good guy... it's obvious he doesn't want his daugher to be killed, and the whole "save the cheerleader, save the world" thing is a major hint that he's on the good side...

I am a wolf,
I'd never want to be anything more.
And I hope that even after I'm gone,
there will be wolves forevermore.

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

Hmm... I dunno. I think he's part of some shady government deal to control and utilize metas for shady and somewhat nefarious purposes! Nyah! All in the name of the 'greater good' where the ends justify the means... *does the shifty eye thing*

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

yeah, bew has a good point.

also, yes, supes has all those powers, not only good. because he is so powerful, he must also be weak. if he didn't get surprised by simple things, he could defeat anyone very easily and quickly. it would be very boring.

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

Hey, I realize he's not quite up to Supes speed yet, but this is just bad writing. Of course he has weaknesses, but a sudden deafness and forgetfulness about his other abilities shouldn't be one of them. If you're actively in pursuit of someone, wouldn't YOU be using all the facilities naturally available to you to find them? At the very least, knowing this person was extremely aggressive and dangerous and a real threat to you, wouldn't you be just a little more careful, on edge, and scan ahead before walking blithely into a situation staring at the ground?

As a wolf, looking out for a bear, I doubt you'd focus all your attention on the ground just under your feet. You'd be scanning as best you could with your 6 mile hearing range and superior sense of smell.

So while someone always being on top of a situation might be boring, there's no need to dumb the character down to ridiculous levels to make things more interesting. It's a sad way to handle an incredible creation.

If you had read a few posts above, BlackWolfDS, you would know that we were talking about the TV show SMALLVILLE which is about young Clark Kent before he become SUPERMAN

Well , what if the enemy was on the same power level as you?

Also If Clark had stopped the bad man early, the show would be over in five minutes!
