Re: WolfMontana's Forum

Okie, I have one to recommend big_smile

Alatia! It's a text based fantasy game, place to chat. smile

Either download a telnet app like Kevterm, or just go to Start, then Run... and type in...

telnet alatia.com 2000

Make up a username (login) and password for yourself.

Oh yeah, if you use the 'Start' 'Run' option, you'll need to set the local echo on.

Once you're in the telnet session, hit Ctrl ] and type 'set LOCALECHO' then hit enter twice.

This is totally old school, you say stuff by typing 'say blah blah' and you move around by using 'n' 's' 'ne' etc.

Don't push your luck, gals. No going "Full Monty" around here please.

I made my move in the D&D dealy we're doing, if you want to continue a bit with your part. Stinks though, cause Sparrow aint on right now to do his part. Oh well.

Re: WolfMontana's Forum

*pigs fly, time lock falls off*

You know... oh btw.. Blue - advance warning, you do not want to read this next paragraph. But, maybe you can help with my last question?

I've been trying to stay away from cow for a looong time... but I've been feeling a bit funny too, and every time I wandered past the beef section I would practically drool. There's something about red meat that I find very... attractive. Don't know why. Anyhoo, finally gave in and grabbed a little bit of thin steak yesterday, then smoked out the kitchen pan-broiling it (not fun in an apartment where you know that if you set that alarm off, you're going to screw up everyone's night), and ate it with my fingers. It was SOOO BLOODY GOOD. Ahhh man.

Blue safety zone >>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<>>><<<

Is there stuff in red meat that you can't get very easily elsewhere? Is there a way to substitute something for it to be able to go veggie and not feel... odd?

Nope, it never brothers me over not eating meat anymore. I made my choice and I'm sticking with it.

Okay, and that's great - but what do you subsititute for it? Just soy/tofu/grains? I've eaten alot of veggie burgers (yummy stuff) but still wasn't feeling quite.. balanced. Just wish there was a way to get it humanely. I have a friend too who stopped eating red meat, after a while she wasn't healing properly (among other things) and her doc told her to eat meat again??

Anyhoo. We're off for an overnight vacation - woot! See you folks tomorrow night! big_smile

Lol, just because you give it to me, doesn't mean I have to eat it. Although, veggie pizza ain't bad. Isn't Mediterranean pizza a veggie pizza?

That and other things like fruit and nuts. The market is full of stuff for vegetarians and some of them have a whole section of veggie stuff
