Nah, it wasn't bad, just boring! And nah, I didn't hang out with those folks again.  I basically just sketched more.

More sun, eh?  Yeah, it was hot out today!   Ohhh, well, hopefully FSU does well tomorrow! Ahh, that sounds nice.  There's an alligator somewhere near here, believe it or not.  THere's like...a retention pond.  And it lives there.  It's weird.

I had an absolutely HORRIBLE nightmare, though.

Hahaha, that's good! I've been sunburnt a few times, it hurts.   Yes, haha - I didn't expect that since I live in a fairly busy part of town.

What I dreamed about was this:
I was in this big school lunchroom.  There were a ton of people in there, waiting for something.  And then the lights slowly get more and more dim until it gets totally black.  And then something begins running across the roof and walls, making horrible noises, I could hear bones snapping/people screaming.  And when I pulled out a flashlight and shined it on whatever it was, it just went invisible - I couldn't see it in the light, or in the dark.  What happened in yours

Yes they are! We even went to a beach where one showed up and thus we had to leave...

Oh GOD! That sounds horrible, it reminds me of the scene in "Carrie" (book, not the film) where they're at the prom and there's water everywhere on the ground and then wires fall into the water... Must have been a SCARY dream.    

And as far as the monster goes, I know it was an alien.  Possibly from another dimension.  Or at least htat's what I was thinking in the dream.

Yes.  It was weird! I think it's cuz the beach was near a swampy area.  This wasn't while I was living in Tampa, btw.  It's while I was living in Crystal River!

If I have nightmares, I usually realize it and force myself awake! And then I make myself get back to sleep, and usually the nightmares stop. Also, a lot of the times when I make myself go back to sleep immediately, I feel myself falling back into sleep and thus the next dream is lucid because I KNOW I just fell asleep! This also happens if I wake up in that odd, paralyzed state and I fall back to sleep.

Yeah, usually if my dreams have aliens, they're nightmares!

Yeah! It is an effective system, believe it or not. I usually do silly things in my lucid dreams, though...or I transform myself into a wolf.    Well, it's kinda scary when it happens, but if it does happen, quickly close your eyes and get yourself fallin' asleep - you'll feel yourself going into sleepmode. It feels kinda like you're sinking into your bed, though!

There are some nightmares I have where I don't go back to sleep, I just keep staying awake.   And then feel horrible the next day.

Crystal River, it's more homey.

Hmm...well, it's not an ability, really.  If I wake up paralyzed, I just take advantage!

Yeah, it really sucks, but I'll be fine.  What broke my heart even more is that when we moved back to Florida from Idaho a couple years ago, we passed through Crystal River on the bus. Also, for the last time, SCREAMO IS A DISTINCT GENRE OF MUSIC.   Not all music with screaming in it, mister! And as far as my interests outside of punk are concerned?  Well, I'm a big fan of nature, which is why I loved living in Colorado so much.  I went outside a lot more often while I was there - in fact I went outside every day, even in the cold and snow.  I've always loved nature, always will.  Another interest of mine is how the human mind works - which is why I plan on taking a Psychology class.  It's just...so...FASCINATING!   I love learning about what makes humans tick - why we behave the way we do, how certain mental illnesses work, things like that.  I also like to sketch, though I'm not too terribly good at it.  There's one picture I'm very proud of (and I drew it on the back of an exam review! ), but that's it.  As I've said before, I really love to write - I've taken creative writing classes two years in a row in high school!  People seemed to enjoy my work during the Workshop sessions (where you have to share a short story with everyone else), despite the fact that I usually look down on what I've written. (I think I just have issues with confidence, really...)  I'm also beginning to take a heavy interest in Greek mythology and hope to be buying books on the subject sometime soon!

Yeah, that sounds pretty similar!  It's weird when that happens, but kinda awesome at the same time!   And it's okay.  I think I would've actually liked it if I wasn't living with my very, very strictly mormon aunt/uncle, to be quite honest..that just..tainted the place for me!



My mom's friend is also a huge train fan! You and him would get along, though he's super Conservative.  He's a really nice guy, though, and I don't judge people by their politics!

Well...yeah, and it scared me, so I decided to not believe in it for a little while, but eventually decided it was okay to have such a weird belief system once I convinced myself it's really no worse than anything else.  I used to chalk my phantom ears/tail up to my overactive imagination and love for all things artistic, hahahahahaha!

It really was a nice place (the town itself - not the spot that my aunt and uncle lived which was sorta outside of town and kinda in the middle of nowhere), sometimes the religious influence was a little much, but I coulda handled it.

I hate moving too! Especially when I moved from Crystal River - I'd actually started crying.
