Hahahahahaha, hey, well I'm sure that's not a bad thing. Did you hang out with those folks again?
Hahahaha, it was ok, more sun and unfortunately more tomorrow as we're going to have to play a third and deciding game tomorrow since we lost today (and by 'we' I mean FSU, not me ). Besides that, nothing too much. My friend and I just took a random drive WAY out into the country on a canopy road to this absolutely massive lake and watched some of the alligators out there.
Offline
Nah, it wasn't bad, just boring! And nah, I didn't hang out with those folks again. I basically just sketched more.
More sun, eh? Yeah, it was hot out today! Ohhh, well, hopefully FSU does well tomorrow!
Ahh, that sounds nice. There's an alligator somewhere near here, believe it or not. THere's like...a retention pond. And it lives there. It's weird.
I had an absolutely HORRIBLE nightmare, though.
That's like the only exciting thing that's really happened!
Offline
Ah, DA then eh?
Hahahahahahahaha, yup. Luckily I don't burn easy at all, although now I am quite tan.
Thanks! Me too!
Hahahahahahahahahaha, shocking.
Really??? Whoa.... Totali thank you so much!!!!! My dreams last night were something I really wanted to bring up last night but I almost forgot! What was yours first? It didn't involve a taser did it?
Offline
Again, my camera sucks. But I seriously am considering putting writing up.
Hahaha, that's good! I've been sunburnt a few times, it hurts.
Yes, haha - I didn't expect that since I live in a fairly busy part of town.
Oh! you had nightmares too?! And no, no tasers!
What I dreamed about was this:
I was in this big school lunchroom. There were a ton of people in there, waiting for something. And then the lights slowly get more and more dim until it gets totally black. And then something begins running across the roof and walls, making horrible noises, I could hear bones snapping/people screaming. And when I pulled out a flashlight and shined it on whatever it was, it just went invisible - I couldn't see it in the light, or in the dark. What happened in yours
Offline
You need to.
Man, those things are everywhere!
Hahahahahahaha, part of it was. I actually had several dreams... odd dreams.
Dang... Did it seem animal or more monster/demonic?
Hahahahaha, well, in the one I remember the best, basically I was hanging out on campus with friends and then there was supposed to be some event at the arena (I think maybe a basketball game, but I'm not sure) so we go there (and random detail, it was storming outside) and once we get inside we find that they've roped off the entrances from the concourse to the actual arena for some reason and their not allowing anyone in. Well, out of the blue, my dad arrives and being my dad, he makes a scene and is very upset about it all. So he crosses the rope in order to talk with the person in charge and some random security guy tases him! At the instant I cross the line screaming at them that he wasn't doing anything and luckily he gets up really quick and stumbles back. Well, right then some other random guy runs across the line and they tase him... right in the face.
What's worse is that the taser seemingly has a malfunction and basically goes nuts, into hyperdrive. Man, it was sending so much voltage through the wires that it was literally sparking blue bolts into the man!
People starting screaming and the guy dropped to the ground and, I mean, he was dead but it kept malfunctioning and his dead body was flopping all over the place and burning and ugh. People were running and screaming.

I know. I get nervous, thougH!
Yes they are! We even went to a beach where one showed up and thus we had to leave...
Oh GOD! That sounds horrible, it reminds me of the scene in "Carrie" (book, not the film) where they're at the prom and there's water everywhere on the ground and then wires fall into the water...
Must have been a SCARY dream.
And as far as the monster goes, I know it was an alien. Possibly from another dimension. Or at least htat's what I was thinking in the dream.
Offline
Nervous? Eh, nothing to be nervous of my friend.
A beach??? On the Gulf???
It was! It's rare for me to wake up from a dream, you know, because of it, but I did with that one. It wasn't scary in the sense that I was worried about myself, but the scene definitely was horrific!
Really? Ah, I have had dreams with those before. Never one like that though!
Offline
I guess. Thanks.
Yes. It was weird! I think it's cuz the beach was near a swampy area. This wasn't while I was living in Tampa, btw. It's while I was living in Crystal River!
If I have nightmares, I usually realize it and force myself awake! And then I make myself get back to sleep, and usually the nightmares stop.
Also, a lot of the times when I make myself go back to sleep immediately, I feel myself falling back into sleep and thus the next dream is lucid because I KNOW I just fell asleep!
This also happens if I wake up in that odd, paralyzed state and I fall back to sleep.
Yeah, usually if my dreams have aliens, they're nightmares!
Offline
Ah, I forgot you lived up there! When did you move?
Really? Wow, sounds like an effective system! You know what? I've heard so much about that waking up paralyzed thing, but it's never happened to me!
Hahahahahaha, me too!
I have a really, really, really hard time falling back asleep after alien dreams...
Offline
Around 2006.
Yeah! It is an effective system, believe it or not.
I usually do silly things in my lucid dreams, though...or I transform myself into a wolf.
Well, it's kinda scary when it happens, but if it does happen, quickly close your eyes and get yourself fallin' asleep - you'll feel yourself going into sleepmode.
It feels kinda like you're sinking into your bed, though!
There are some nightmares I have where I don't go back to sleep, I just keep staying awake. And then feel horrible the next day.
Offline
Ah, ok, so pretty recently. Which do you like better?
Really??? Dang, I wish I had that ability!
Weird!
Yeah, me too.
Offline
Crystal River, it's more homey.
Hmm...well, it's not an ability, really. If I wake up paralyzed, I just take advantage!
Yeah...like, I had this one...
There was a guy with an axe watching skinless bloody bodies hanging from meathooks as they were rotating around the room...
I...didn't get back to sleep...
Offline
I always thought it looked nice when passing through there.
Hahahahahahaha,
Offline
It is! I know that place very well!
I'd rather be there right now, honestly, than Tampa. All my absolute best friends were there!
Yep!
Yeah, it was scary! Incredibly scary, to the point where I said "shite." when I woke up.
Just...ew!
Ever had any really freaky nightmares like that where you wake up vocalizing your fear?

I'm sorry to hear that you had to leave them. So tell me Totali, I've gotten to know you over the WC and everything, but what are you really like? I mean what are your interests beyond punk screamo stuff and everything?
Hahahahahahahahahaha, but you say that for everything.
Yeah, yeah, I have. I've had dreams before where my dad told me he could hear me moaning and stuff in my room. I also have a bad habit of punching the wall or if I have to share a bed on vacation, whoever's there in my sleep!
Offline
Yeah, it really sucks, but I'll be fine. What broke my heart even more is that when we moved back to Florida from Idaho a couple years ago, we passed through Crystal River on the bus. Also, for the last time, SCREAMO IS A DISTINCT GENRE OF MUSIC.
Not all music with screaming in it, mister!
And as far as my interests outside of punk are concerned? Well, I'm a big fan of nature, which is why I loved living in Colorado so much. I went outside a lot more often while I was there - in fact I went outside every day, even in the cold and snow. I've always loved nature, always will. Another interest of mine is how the human mind works - which is why I plan on taking a Psychology class. It's just...so...FASCINATING!
I love learning about what makes humans tick - why we behave the way we do, how certain mental illnesses work, things like that. I also like to sketch, though I'm not too terribly good at it. There's one picture I'm very proud of (and I drew it on the back of an exam review!
), but that's it. As I've said before, I really love to write - I've taken creative writing classes two years in a row in high school! People seemed to enjoy my work during the Workshop sessions (where you have to share a short story with everyone else), despite the fact that I usually look down on what I've written. (I think I just have issues with confidence, really...) I'm also beginning to take a heavy interest in Greek mythology and hope to be buying books on the subject sometime soon!
Is that the type of stuff you're lookin' for?
My mom says I've talked in my sleep, during nightmares or normal dreams.
Did you know I once asked her if I was a wolf in my sleep?
And you punch the WALL?! Also, if I ever meet you and something like that happens, I'll opt for the floor!
Offline
Where in Idaho did you live? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha,
Whatever you say.
Yeah, definitely. I was just curious more about the person on the other side of the avatar you know? That's all really neat, I never knew any of that. So how did you come across all the therianthropy stuff?
Really??? What'd she say?
Hahahahahahahahahaha! Luckily it doesn't happen too often, but I wake immediately when I do!
Offline
I'm going to have to show you bands people consider screamo, aren't I?
Idaho Falls.
What's really odd is that someone else from Idaho Falls moved to Tampa too and they came to MY school here and recognized me...I'm not making this up! It was soooo weird, hahahahahaa!
Ah, I see! Well, I know that you have an interest in sports, and painting/drawing/writing/art in general from your dA!
What other stuff are you interested in?
And I came across Therianthropy through here. I kept seeing people say they were a Therian and finally being like "CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THAT IS?!"
What about you?
She just said "You know, you asked me if you were a wolf in your sleep last night."
And I was like "Wha...really?"
This is when I was a kid.
Ah, well, at least it doesn't happen that often.
Offline
Nope.
Really????
That reminds me of the time that I saw a random guy from the private middle school I went two when I went to school there (let me note that there were only about 30 people in my class total) in the Montreal train station during one summer!
Neither of us even knew each other would be there!
What's Idaho Falls like?
Hahahahahahaha, well, I'm a HUGE train fan. I also really like following space travel. As for travel in general, I love traveling and got my 50th state when I was 16 and my final Canadian province when I was 18. I really enjoy meeting new people, and besides that it's pretty much just sports and school. As for what I value most, definitely God, my family, and friends.
You know, I feel that I know you pretty well, if you want I can send you a link to my FB page via e-mail. (I've been friends with Vin, CS, SF, and Grems for a while on there.)
Ah, and then you just realized that that described you and everything?
Very true!
Offline
Yes.
Yes, really, hahahaha! (Your has are seriously rubbing off on me. I did a really long string of has to a friend of mine on Facebook!
)
Yeah, that sounds pretty similar! It's weird when that happens, but kinda awesome at the same time! And it's okay. I think I would've actually liked it if I wasn't living with my very, very strictly mormon aunt/uncle, to be quite honest..that just..tainted the place for me!
My mom's friend is also a huge train fan! You and him would get along, though he's super Conservative. He's a really nice guy, though, and I don't judge people by their politics!
Ah, you like to travel, eh? My mom does too - it's why we've moved so much! God, family, friends, eh? Sounds kinda similar to me. Despite the fact that I'm not technically Christian, I still pray. I know that may sound stupid, but yeah...I do believe in God. Oh...well...sure, okay.
Send me a note on DeviantART with your email in it!
Well...yeah, and it scared me, so I decided to not believe in it for a little while, but eventually decided it was okay to have such a weird belief system once I convinced myself it's really no worse than anything else. I used to chalk my phantom ears/tail up to my overactive imagination and love for all things artistic, hahahahahaha!
Offline
(Hahahahahaha!
You know why I've always done that? What the reasoning is?)
Ah, that's too bad.
Really??? Hahahahaha, I probably would!
Hahahahahahaha, thankfully.
Neither do I.
Hahahahahaha, I don't like moving though. No, that doesn't sound stupid.
Hahahahaha, or I could just click the e-mail button under your name.
I just sent it by the way.
Hahahahahahaha, you know, I used to have phantom ears a lot in middle school and high school, and I just chalked it all up to being weird.
Offline
(Why?! )
Yeah, it is.
It really was a nice place (the town itself - not the spot that my aunt and uncle lived which was sorta outside of town and kinda in the middle of nowhere), sometimes the religious influence was a little much, but I coulda handled it.
I hate moving too! Especially when I moved from Crystal River - I'd actually started crying.
Good!
I thought I had it set to where there was no email box under my name!
And do you mean a note on DA or an email?
Offline
Nevermind - I figured it out on my own, hahaha!
And I've added you!
And for the record, yes, I know your grandmother probably had a dog with my name.
I've literally had four people tell me that when they've met me...

I must say though that I've actually never moved, but that's the reason why I know I'd hate it... I can't imagine doing it so much, I'm really sorry that you had to go through that.
Hahahahahahahaha, fail on the e-mail box!
Great! Hahahaha, the main reason I kind of like that is just in case I woke up someday and found that this site had just disappeared or whatever, that way we could at least all still keep in touch you know?
Hahahahaha, and guess, what? My grandmother... just kidding.

Yeah, it's definitely difficult. You're lucky to stay in the same place so long! Once I get my education in order and truly begin moving forward with my life, I will find one place and stay there for a WHILE.
Hey...welll...yo' momma.
Yeah, that's why I like it, too! I have a couple internet buddies I've added onto there. I think I'll add Vinster and a couple others, too.
Good.
