Alrighty, I'll try and get on tomorrow - I'll have plenty of time I think. Afterall...I don't have any school or anything. I haven't had any since Wednesday.
Goodnight!

See you tomorrow Totali!

Hey that was a very interesting song, though I will say an unexpected one. Also as I said yesterday, don't let the "freedom" of it all worry you too much, as once you get going everything works out just fine.
So as your now Graduated have you decided what college your going to attend?

That song is actually a cover of a band called Jawbreaker. I like the original as well, but Blake Schwarzenbach's voice (their lead singer) is beyond raspy. It's so extraordinarily raspy that it enters a whole new dimension of raspiness unheard of before Jawbreaker's existence. Well, that's an exaggeration...but yeah, his voice is pretty damn raspy.
I actually think I like this girl's cover better, despite the fact that Jawbreaker are actually one of my favorite bands. Oh, by the way, here's the original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcllXCz1jHs
Oh, and I'm pretty sure I'd like to go to FSU but I'm still considering USF because I can seriously just walk down a street that's right across from me and be there. I'm still not wanting to be away from my family, haha..
Oh, and hey there Whitester, who I see has left a post as well. I again am going to have to apologize for not seeing that post there before. This is like the second time that's happened, and I feel like an asshole.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, ah I have missed your musical expertise this past while. I think that I like the cover version a bit better as well.
I do like the music of Jawbreaker though.
Hey well that will be really neat which ever you ultimately decided to attend. Staying with family is always a good economic choice as you wouldn't have to pay housing, but sometimes that freedom which comes from moving away is a nice thing as well.
You'll have to let us all know what you decide.

And I loved talking about it endlessly and shoving the music I love in everybody's face that comes in my thread! In fact, since I haven't posted anything heavy, fast, or loud recently and have been posting links to softer stuff lately, so here's something kinda heavy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dm1xc_d_FVA This is from the album right before AFI turned into the crapfest that they are now.
Yeah, not having to worry as much about finances is one reason I'm considering USF (other than the fact that it's in walking distance of course!) but I do kinda want more freedom at the same time. It's an EXTREMELY difficult choice. FSU, one of my very good friends from high school is going there along with like 4 other people I know. Over here, I'm basically with my family. However, USF is apparently known as a party school...so yeah. That's one major con it has. I can't enjoy parties.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, ah well it is great that you do so. You know I don't believe I have ever really heard of this particular band, that was quite an interesting song. That is too bad that they went downhill though; I always think it sad when that sort of thing happens.
Ah that is a dilemma, though definitely a much more reasonable one than my own. I debated over two schools based on their school colors and campus location.
I can definitely see how that would be a difficult choice to make so I wish you the best of luck in deciding. (Also if for whatever reason one or the other didn't work you could always transfer later on.
)
Well I must be heading off to bed now, so have a great evening TM! It has been great chatting with you again.
Offline
Yeah, if AFI hadn't gone to shite, I'd consider them my favorite band ever. Then they started pandering to the angsty emo kids and their music went all downhill from there. I hate it when it happens too,
.
School colors? You were worrying about school colors?! I can understand campus location, but SCHOOL COLORS? !
Also, thanks for that!
I really hope I can make the decision soon.
I'm horribly indecisive.
And alright, goodnight! See ya tomorrow, hopefully!

I wonder why they chose to switch there music style to cater towards such a group as that?
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, I definitely was.
I had decided that I wasn't going to go to the school where I could stay home so I had the choice between two institutions. I didn't have a field of study then, so I based my decision off of campus and the school colors.
So how are you doing today?
Offline
I dunno, to make money I guess. I don't use the term sell-out very often, but it applies to AFI in my opinion.
Well, I wouldn't worry about school colors. Unless, they're absolutely vile, like hot pink and pea-green. Then yeah, I probably would avoid that school, even if it was Harvard and I managed to get accepted.
I hope you made your decision based more on the campus than the colors, though!
Pretty good, did some shopping today, which was fun. I also realized I don't have to go to bed early tonight since I'm not going to school tomorrow. How're you?

*Darts in randomly*
I made my decision based on school colors.
Offline
Well...all I have to say about that is, uh...your mother.
Offline
Hahahahahahahahahaha, well it does seem the accurate description of the band's actions.
Yeah it was more towards the campus, as one was in the largest city in Utah, and the other in a smaller city close to the wilderness and I opted for the later.
Glad to hear that. Do you have any fun summer plans? Ah I'm doing excellent today, my Mother is in town from Northern Idaho and so I have been spending time with her between my work schedule.
Offline
Hahahahahahaha,
Naw, I'm just kidding Totali.
I do know one school I'd never go to though because of the colors... well, actually make that two.
Offline
@ Vindicator, Yeah, it sadly does apply to them. And now because I showed you an old AFI song, I'm in the mood for dark yet mystical songs (like more oldschool AFI).
So is it in SLC then? Or is there a city in Utah that I don't know about that's bigger? I dunno if I'd go to a colleg in a huge city because I just don't like huge cities.
I'm living in one right now, and it kinda sucks.
And my summer plans include possibly going to Warped Tour, or going to a different concert. Afterall, Warped Tour has like...5 good bands outta 50 this year and I dunno if it's worth standing around in the Florida heat all day for. Just to catch a few bands I like and deal with a ton of terrible ones. But me and a friend of mine who I haven't seen in a while really wanna do some stuff together this summer, and that is a possibility (or a different concert as I said before - something indoors away from intense heat instead maybe.
)
@ Whitester, well that's good. What two schools are those?
And how have YOU been?
Oh, and here's another old AFI song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjWRCo_zSIk
And yes, it does sound like the singer sucked in way too much helium.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha, nah you have it right on. It's SLC, the school was the University of Utah. I am very happy that I chose to go to Utah State, as it is just simply beautiful up there, and I love being in the smaller town setting. I don't think I would fair very well living within the confines of a large city, as it would be harder to get away from it all.
Hey that sounds like fun! I think that the opportunity of spending time with friends will outweigh any negative aspects of the tour and the heat.
In any event though I hope that you definitely get those opportunities to spend time with your friend.

Hey, my mom went to University of Utah!
Yeah, it must be nice there. The scenery, I mean. The only thing I even remotely thought was okay in Idaho was when we went to the mountains there - it was quite beautiful! I also visited Yellowstone in Montana whilst I was living in Idaho - that was beautiful as well! I want to go wolf watching one day. You can do that at Yellowstone! It sounds awesome!
Oh, btw, have you ever seen at least coyotes in Utah?
Yeah, it should be fun! I haven't been to a concert in so long, and neither has she!
I'm hoping the crowd at whatever show we decide to go to is like this, haha! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFJGWgql01o Just look at 'em! Complete insanity, I love shows like that, haha - Watch 'til the end, that guy's head is randomly bleeding for no reason I can think of by the time it's over.
And yes, that actually is their name and MTV somehow let them on anyway!

Hahahahaha, Whitester. I missed that.
Florida (orange and bright blue) and Clemson (orange and purple)
Hahahahaha, I've been great! Took the MCAT last weekend, now I'm pretty much just being a bum.
What have you been up to?
Offline
Well, now I'm back here to call you Whitester whenever I feel like doing so.
Oh god, those ARE horrible colors! I can't even imagine them together...ew!
Well, it's great that you've been great! And after taking an exam, you have the right to be a bum!
Just like I do after...y'know, completing high school 'n all.
And I've been up to nothing important as of late, just been...hangin'. I watched a few scary movies recently, including a really bad "Child's Play" sequel that me and two other people were making fun of.
I'll hopefully be busy during this summer, doing stuff. I need to socialize more.
Offline
Hahahahahahahaha, it wasn't the same with it.
Hahahahaha, you bet!
Hahahahahaha, thanks! Hahahahahaha, I know!!! Congrats again!!!!
Hahahahaha, I'm so excited for you!!!! Such a HUGE accomplishment!
Now life gets interesting.
Hahahaha, well you certainly have earned some time off as well. So any plans?
Offline
Hopefully it gets interesting. High school sucks. I hate it. Everyone's all...bleh! It was all just...BLEAHHH!
The...um...interesting people in all my classes seemed to gravitate towards me (probably because I'm too much of a nice person) and tell me about their problems. Like this one guy who was telling me about magic rituals he was doing to shapeshift.
Yeah, I've got some plans! Like I said to Vinster, I've been thinking of Warped Tour or some sort of show. Probably gonna go to a different concert, though. Warped is too hot, and there are 5 bands I like and a bunch of bands I don't playing it this year!
Then again, Warped's line-up is always downright terrible, so I'm not surprised!
What about YOU?!

Wait... elaborate on the last part of your first statement...

Well, I was quietly sitting in Physics one day, just staring off into space because I was having trouble grasping what the teacher was talking about (I actually needed tutoring for that class) when the person in the assigned seat next to mine tapped on my shoulder. Now, I expected him to speak of awkward things because he always did. At lunch, he'd come up to me and talk about the most random shite - be it some weird anime he saw or a book I'd never heard of - it was always...weird talking to him. However, all I thought he was was just somebody who was socially awkward so I was never nasty to him. I myself am a bit socially awkward. ANYWAY, before I continue rambling, he started talking to me about how he did this magical ritual to turn himself into a cat. But it didn't work because his mom walked in on him.
Yep.
That's how it went down.
Just...yeah.
Yeah.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! That's ironic! Did you tell him you were a therian?
