Yeah, it all has to come from the heart, and rushing it is definitely a BAAADDD idea since you're basically just forcing something down.
Kinda like how when a band rushes an album, it comes off sounding weak and like they were just going through the motions - I didn't like the last Alkaline Trio album for that reason. They didn't spend very much time on it.

Yeah, it sounds like they're trying to sound the way they did in the 90s, but it's not workin' too well. Hope their next one is better - and that they take some more time to work on it!
Luckily, The Gaslight Anthem & Ceremony have both released fine albums this year.

Rise Against are a very big band now, I'm surprised that people who don't know them still exist.
Then again, it's not like they've gained ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE popularity like Green Day did a few years ago, so I guess that's understandable!
