I know she's not rubbing literal shite in your face.
You don't have to tell me!
That would just be disgusting.

Aww, that sucks.  Why can't you catch The Acacia Strain?  And when's your birthday, exactly..?  Do you have to wait a while for it..?

Did you have a good Birthday?

So when do you start school this year?

Ah, today was just a slowish sort of day is all, but I am done working at the theater so all is good. big_smile

Yeah, it was pretty good.
Someone made me a really great birthday card, hahaha. tongue

I...have not applied for anywhere yet...
But I'm probably going to apply for HCC once I get the guts to do so..

Oh, so it was just a slow, boring day? tongue Ah, so I take it you didn't like working at the theater and are excited about not having to work anywhere anymore? yikes tongue

Excellent to hear. smile

Hahahahaha, ah it really isn't all that scary. tongue  So do you have a year of high school left? Or have you finished that up?

Affirmative to all accounts! big_smile big_smile  I mean I enjoyed the people I worked with but the actual job wasn't the greatest one someone could have, you know?

I'm really, really nervous about it. tongue
I'm done with high school.
Time to move forward - even if I'm scared to death of it, hahaha.
Everyone probably is, though!

Hahaha, I see. tongue Ah, well at least you worked around people that you liked! big_smile Even if the job wasn't all that great. tongue

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Most definitely, as I was in your same boat a few years ago. wink   I would say though that you may want to hurry as fall semester will be starting soon. wink  Anyway though college is a blast! big_smile

Ah, that is my problem, I'm not entirely sure. I know I don't like office jobs all that much (but can tolerate them for a time) and I don't like food serves. tongue  I think maybe teaching, or lab work, or even some sort of job outdoors you know?

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Honestly, I think I'm going to wait 'til next semester, which may or may not be a good idea... tongue  I just need some time to THINK, hahaha.  I hope it's a blast! yikes I hope it's better than high school, at least!

Ah, I see.  Yeah, office jobs don't sound fun.  Bein' trapped in a cubicle all day looonnnggg... hmm Hahahaha, I'd never be able to do something like food services or y'know...being a grocery store clerk.  The moment someone gets nasty with me and acts like it's my fault whatever food they got isn't right...well, I probably won't take it too well. tongue Ah, yeah - labwork eh?  What kinda labwork? big_smile  I'm not sure what I want to do at ALL. tongue I kinda want to write for a living - maybe I'll be one of those people who writes for brochures and manuals and stuff, haha.  It'd be better if I got a book published though and made a living off writing THAT way! big_smile

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Ah, well taking the time to think is always a good thing, especially before jumping into anything.  College is one million times better than High School, in general there are fewer clicks, and people are genuinely interested in gaining an education. Also there is just so much going on upon the campuses that there is always something fun to be doing. big_smile

Hahahahaha, yeah I'm actually fine working with the customers, I just hate cleaning up the remains of food... it is just disgusting some days. tongue  Ah, one of my dreams is to work in a crime lab, so forensic investigation as it were. wink Writing would be a really interesting and neat profession.  You'll have to try for it and see where it takes you. wink

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Yeah.  And I'm a very indecisive person as well, so I just need to mull things over for a bit. tongue
Ah, yeah, I heard there were less clicks.  This is a good thing, as the click attitude is kind of off-putting to me.  I never really fit in with one particular group anyway (as cliche and stupid as that may sound tongue), so that's probably why.  Ah, really?  That's good. big_smile I know that one university my mom went to had a music venue in it and there were always some neat bands coming in.  I got to see a few of 'em! tongue big_smile

Ah, that's good.  I couldn't do it...I just couldn't.  I'd rather clean up the remains of food to be quite honest. tongue tongue Though yes, I do agree that it can be disgusting sometimes. yikes Ah, really?  That'd be awesome if you could work in a crime lab! big_smile Yeah, I'm gonna see where it can take me! smile

Oh, by the way!
I had this really interesting dream I must describe to you in vivid detail! big_smile big_smile big_smile

-DREAM-
Okay, so it began with me walking around with a friend of mine on this dirt road in the middle of a foresty area - we were discussing how awful the movie "Alpha & Omega" looked. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vi4HJ2jQno8 <--there's the trailer. tongue) My friend was also going on about how he hated wolves, and I kept telling him that he shouldn't hate wolves and that there was no reason for him to feel that way.  We kept arguing about it until we reached a fork in the road.  He went one way, I went another way.  I then walked through this gate into this area that was...odd.

There were so many people there, a LOT of people.  Some of them were perfectly normal-looking people while others were dressed in extravagant theatrical clothing/face-paint and walking on stilts while breathing fire. (Seriously. tongue) However, I was having a pretty good time - I wasn't really socializing much, but I was still having a pretty good time.  A couple people asked me some pretty casual questions ("How are you?" "Nice day, isn't it?") but that was kinda it.  I looked out towards the gate and noticed another friend of mine was there - I quickly hid in the nearest bathroom because I knew if she saw me amongst all these people, she'd think lesser of me.  Also, while I was in this bathroom...I started having a mental/phantom shift.  Someone came in and asked me if I was alright and I said I was fine, and the person walked away. After it was over, I walked out of the bathroom and out of the place with all those people.  I then began hearing someone saying something along the lines of "What a great howl this was this year!"  I looked back at the gate and noticed a large sign that said "THERIANTHROPY" in all caps above it.

My reaction was just "Oh.  Alright." and I began walking back down that dirt path I was on earlier...and was all of a sudden at the front of Disney World.  My mom was waiting for me along with what was apparently our dog (it was a siberian husky) and we went to a truck.  I couldn't quite fit in the truck for some reason, I was too big for it.  My mom and sister kept saying it was fine and that I didn't need to fit in the truck.  I was still a little freaked out, though - because of the fact that I couldn't completely fit, the door on my side was wide open.  And...well, we started driving and I was hanging on for dear life with my feet dangling outside of the truck and my head halfway out.  My sister kept saying that if I fell out, nothing bad was going to happen and I wasn't going to die.  I was still scared, though. tongue

And yeah...I pretty much woke up after the whole thing with the truck.
What do ya think?

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

When you do make a decision and get to college you will find it to be a truly amazing experience. smile wink

Speaking of Writing have you happened to do anymore recently?

Wow that is an extremely detailed and interesting dream!  The opening intrigues me, for the discussion of that terrible film [I have seen the previews and man is that awful. tongue ]  introduces us in a non direct way to the next segment that seems to deal with Therianthropy.  I almost think the carnival feel of it all may be a reflection of how there are all a lot of nuts roaming around places like the cafe here.  Your reaction seems to suggest that you accept there are nuts and simply do not dwell upon that fact.

Hahahahahahaha, now for the truck portion, I really cannot think of anything for that portion. tongue Is there anything that stands out to you as to why you would have been unable to fit in the vehicle and had that fear along with it?

A little.
I'm still gettin' the guts up to post it, though...
tongue

Hahahaha, yeah.  "Alpha & Omega" just...well, I felt embarassed simply watching the trailer.
tongue
Ah, yeah - that's kinda how I feel.  There are some crazy people involved in it, but I don't really pay any attention to 'em, haha.  There are some crazy people involved in every belief structure - it's just natural! tongue

Hahaha, I have no idea what it could mean either! yikes
The truck sequence, I mean!
I just find it odd that my mom was driving.  Outside of dreamland, her neck is so bad that she isn't even allowed to drive...tongue

Re: I really haven't posted in a long time, have I?

Hahahahahahaha, ah just go ahead and post it. wink big_smile

Oh, man I entirely agree... That film just made me sad for those who created it.  I mean they obviously have never read a single scientific paper on wolves for one. tongue The fact that the main character is trying to get with the individual who would be his mother... so odd. tongue tongue

It was a very odd portion of the dream. I think it could have something to do with that feeling that comes from Graduating High School, your still in the truck (Family), but at the same time you are at that point in life where you'll start leaving the truck to embark out on your own in the world, you know?
