shakes head, oh dear BlueEye's you've let yourself down there, that name was given to him later when he was used a second time, his real name, his true name is "Rudolf" I think he changed it to Gossamer coz he realised Rudolf is a lame name. His real name before he changed it (or after WB forgot they had already named him before) is Rudolf. How many times have I typed Rudolf.......alot me thinks.
But atleast you new Gossamer!!!!!!!!! most people dont even know that.
Well, when Chuck Jones, the creator of Gossamer, made the cartoon Duck Dodgers and the Return of the 24 1/2 Century in 1980, he gave the orange monster that name which it still is today.

and a quick internet search later, 1946 Chuck jones creates rudolf (who later in 1980 was called Gossamer for some reason) in a cartoon with a mad scientist who tries to capture Bugs bunny for his experiments. Hair-Raising Hare was the name of the cartoon, I suggest you watch it, its brilliant.

Yep, one of the Bugs Bunny classics.

See.....Rudolf!
woo me I got something right.......wow........this must be what pride feels like.

Yeah. It WAS Rudolf but nowdays the orange monster is called GOSSAMER and it was Chuck Jones who renamed his own character.

That dont matter, my mom naming me poncho the later calling me Geoff doesnt change my intitial stamp on the world being poncho. Rudolf is the name birthed onto the character, Gossamer came 54 years later. For 54 years he was Rudolf. for 29 he's been Gossamer. I think thats pretty obvious his name is Rudolf but he goes by Gossamer after being called 'Ruddy' too much, it just didnt make him scary anymore.

Humph. Fine ! YOU call him "Rudolf: but I will always call him GOSSAMER since that's what everyone and Warner Bros. themselves call him now.

They made one mistake at Wiki. He's orange, NOT red.

More art to come. I just need to find some inspiration.
