Also, I bought tablet, but there's an error on my CD/DVD ROM that won't even read CDs/DVDs - what a splendid waste of 50 bucks!
You can just get the software from the internet, you know?
What model is it?

Awe, thanks, Zage
I'm glad you liked it (It was a b**** to color, but fun, too!) I just want to be really good, like all those other artists, and I just don't feel that's happening for me.

Erm, I think it's Igor, or something. It's one of those minature CDs, I dunno if my computer reads it or what not. I've had difficulties with my computer reading disks. It hasn't read anything for the past 3 months. Since I watched Smallville last on it and an error occurred. I'm getting a new computer anyways.
Ah, ok.

Well, free as in paying nothing is possible, but not really 'legal' though you could try SumoPaint, it's an online painting tool so no software is required, I'm getting ready to try it for myself, and other people who have used it have told me they like it. Try it at http://www.sumopaint.com/web/

Oh, by the way - does anyone know the best quality scanner I can get for my artwork?

Crap. I meant GIMP 2. I did actually find out I had Photoshop on the laptop but unfortunately it would not transfer over to my computer. T_T

That looks awesome! I like how, as you get nearer to the nose, you see more of the lines.
I've sent you an email about the tablet and Photoshop.

Ahhh, I'm so sorry. I've been wanting to practice landscape before I begin on the major parts of it. It's turning out a TON harder than I anticipated.

Tanks a bunch *Hugs*
And thanks all of you for the wonderful comments. I refuse to post anymore sketches etc... until I get a scanner. I'm tired of my camera.

You guys really have got skills. I feel like such a newbie compared to some of the artists here. Guess it's time to take down some notes and learn from the pros...

Thanks!
Ha!
I'm hardly a pro, but what helps is getting reference first from other pictures. I usually use other photos to aid me in anatomy - until recently. It really helps if you do it over and over again
