I'll agree with that1 By the way, Ya'll...Has anyone checked out my serious werewolf piece... Bangkok Moon from STG's Midnight at the cathouse theater? The original cover by Tommy Castillo went to a famous collector and lots of buzz now about the book. I'm kinda wondering about ya'lls opinion as after all...YOU are werewolf fans! Sheesh!

I haven't yet, low on funds. But I'll try and check it soon.

Great guys! You'll enjoy it i think and it really is the most unusual Lycanthrope tale in many a year. and I'm planninga sequel book down the road witha few of the charcters. so, we'll talk about that soon! In the meantime...Bubba is taking his usual Hurricane precautions...He's duct taped himself to the Still and has spent all his lottery ticket money on frozen dinners in case the power goes out. Sigh...Yeah...think about it. 'Cause he sure doesn't!

Hmm I wonder if they are all sailsbury steak dinners.

Nah; probably finger sandwiches like in #1.

Naw, probably all beans. Why you think he taped himself to the outhouse?

Well, yer all partially right. He duct taped himself to the still which is in a part of his palatial outhouse and he has the microwave sitting ona pile of old auto traders. He always likes to cut out the middle man. more to think about. He comes by this pretty naturally though. His grandfather was the first person to stuff Manicotti with Bicarb...this creating and curing indegestion at the same time. and let's not forget Bubba's greatest try at inventing...Backless pants. LOL!

That's Bubba, all right.

Well, RealDealBubba, I got and read The Bangkok Moon in the first issue of Midnight at the Cathouse Theater from http://www.scaretactixgraphix.com . It was an interesting story for a non-Bubba werewolf tale of how a man, who is trying to finding out why he is a werwolf by going to Thailand for answers and runs into something that he wasn't expecting..
Not really my type of a story because of the violence and sexual suggestive situations and the main character isn't very likeable but the die-hard werewolf readers might like it.
RealDealBubba, are you planning to do more non-Bubba werewolf stories as well as stories of non-werewolf characters like vampires and ghosts?
Offline
Well, Blue..the answer is Yes! I'm doinga whole bunch of new stuff and it will be more on the horror suspense level. I'll still be writing Bubba as he's always my fav to do. The main character in the Bangkok moon story was supposed to be the reprehensible SOB I portaryed him as. Actually my favorite character was the monk as he's based on a Buddhist monk i became freindly with while over there for a time. He's the one who told me of some of the legends and some of the people who pass through the country from time to time. An amzing place is Thailand. the interpol agent was also a favorite and I'm hoping to bring him back in another story soon. thanks for the review on the book by the way and although it wasn't your type of story...I think it was a good tale to tell and it looks at the other side of creatures of this nature and their motivations.

Yes, I did like the monk too, RealDealBubba. The agent may come back? Why I have the feeling that he is going to caught up in another weird adventure?
Also that is good news about Bubba since I always enjoyed his tales.

That's cause he will be, Blue. We havea lot of new stuff coming this winter from STG. Just keep an eye on the website for more info and appearences from us. In the meantime...The next adventure is gonna be Bubba Bobby-Jo and Booger and will be coming out late winter as well.

Alright, one with more of the regular cast.

hey Realdeal my friend, I be gearing up for Mid-Ohio con this coming month and was wondering if your be hitting that show as well ? , also the convention I've been planning is still going to happen just a few changes here and there (still being called Redneck-Con & still going to have the Colan awards).
Offline
RedneckCon...is that like the Summer Redneck Games? http://summerredneckgames.com/

Okay, Let's catch up...Winky the wonder weasel?!! LOL!!!! Okay, ladies and gents...swamp thing has finally sniffed too many sharpies. And the Redneck con looks cool. I like the fact that they're using Yellow Pine as opposed to oak or Cypress...Your guests will have fewer splinters and better coverage when you seal the deal up. Also, why dosen't everyone ask Swamp Thing about his new movie Trivia challenge? It's pretty cool!
