New "BUBBA" material will be out at the beginning of next year with any luck...
   My little X-Mas surprise will make it's debut on the forum before Christmas.
I'm not going to spoil the surprise of the art but it does involve Santa.

    Just to let you know and anyone else who may be interested I'll be attending the FX Extravaganza and MegaCon conventions next year in Orlando, hope to see some "BUBBAPHILES" down here next year.

I wasn't as much sick as I was laid up...some pretty painful back problems thanks to a severely pinched psiatic nerve...literally had me crawling at one point,very humbling!

ROFL, Fuzzball! I've been lucky enough to have heard that song before! All the other reindeer have to call him "sir"as well! Fuzzball is the best  source for the cool yule funny stuff this time out for sure!

So, here we are into the 'holidaze' and yes, I'm waiting on my web guy to update my site witha  special tales of the southland, so just hang in there and he should be sobered up enough to do it soon. That's what I get for dealing with freaking Pirates! LOL.  Hi to Cadre and all by the way!

And yes, Swamp Thing and I are up to no good. Wait till ya'll see! also, tune in here between egg nogs (and gettin' Uncle Floyd dis-entangled from the yard lights when he goes out to take a "nature walk" from too much of the aforemetioned Egg-Nog) for a big Christmas Eve announcement!

let's just say, that all the patience you've shown is going to be worth it. I even have to leave the country for a few days and will wind up not far from the North Pole for this one. You'll see... So, just keep the faith and put out those cookies for the big guy...I mean Bubba not Santa, cause where we have to go, we just may have to hitch a ride back with the Claus man to get back in time to sample Booger's special Holiday Hooch!  It's fit for man or beast and so no one gets left out...or sober.

Right now, i gotta go get Bubba's passport photo done before they raise the price and they realize i'm trying to take a crazed animal. Me not Bubba, outta the states. And thanks to all of those who through their "efforts" have helped things get back on track by making me re-contact with some kinfolks of mine from other countries, but respecting my good old US of a A initiative. So...Lower Slobovia (with a short stop off in Redneckia)...here we come! LOL! See all you folks here at the Cafe' in a few weeks. To all of you who wrote and said such wonderful things to Bubba and I and wished my family well in a tough time, bless ya'll and  thanks... ya'lls payback is a "Mitch". LOL!

Hey Ya'll just gettin' ready to take off an' thought i'd check in real quick.  thnaks to all of you who sent Holiday greetings! Blue Eye,  yours was the best!!! umm, i feel a bit awkward sayin this, and i feel kinda sad, but ummm, yeah... i've never read any bubba comics. are they rockin?

nowhere near me has ever had any kind of bubba stuff, so yeah, i'm feelin kinda left out.

   It's cool Nachoboy , your not out of any major loop of world wise knowledge. The blessed or cursed few(depends on ones perspective) that know of "BUBBA;the Redneck Werewolf" are a select minority among the world populace , we do not have the numbers of mindless, unimaginative drones that a DC or Marvel commands or even an Image for that matter with their older, more established and some would agree somewhat boring characters that live in a neverending loop of dullness in their four color worlds..."Damn !,that didn't come off sounding too bitter did it?

   Now here is some basic facts about the South's most infamous Werewolf;
         BUBBA; the Redneck Werewolf  was created by Mitch Hyman (of the Newport Hymans)
  Bubba made his first appearance within the pages of the horror anthology series "Bound in Darkness" in 1996.
   Since then he has appeared in 8 issues of his own book plus some cameo appearances in "Cracked" magazine.
   BUBBA is not a true Werewolf, he is more man-made,genetically altered beast.
   He resides in the sleepy little town of "Pig's Knuckle Bend" Florida where he is the town's animal control agent.
   He lives in an abandoned run down Drive-In called "the Sinkhole"(once owned by his family) with his little piece of a--......um girlfriend, Bobbi-Jo Honeypants.
   BUBBA does not transform with the phases of the moon,he's pretty much in wolf form all the time!
   BUBBA will pretty much eat anything that wanders in his path ,with the exception of human beings(he has an uncomfortable agreement with the townsfolk), but he occasionally becomes suspect when a farmer loses some cattle or pigs.
  BUBBA; the Redneck Werewolf is a independently published book that comes out periodically when possible...next issue will be released in first quarter of 2007.

   It's not Shakespeare and it aint gonna be hangin in the Louvre anytime soon ,it's just some good "ole' southern redneck Lycanthrope backwoods adventure tellin ,in comic book form.
   You get a hold of a copy or three or four ,read it over and give us some feedback good or bad ,as long as it's honest!
   I worked on a couple of the issues (inked #1 ,wrote,pencilled super sci-fi special #1)
I also designed the title art for the series.
