Hey ya'll! Please kisten up! there has been some serious rumor mill stuff working overtime and harder than Clovis tryin' at getting a date with Polly. THERE IS NO MOVIE POSTER COMING OUT FROM ROB GRANITO!!
Rob was submitting some ideas to me for a possible Bubba calendar from the comic series! this calendar is an open audition for comic pros only. and while Rob is a pro, he is not connected in any way with the film or the ongoing series. Shawn Surface is the man around here! I just thought that it would be cool to see industry takes on Bubba for a possible supplemental project for you fan folks. so if you want REAL bubba news check with shaggy arm or the sid haig site or the new Bubba site! cause if ya'll get yer news from anyone else burt us, then just go by a copy of the freakin' National inquirer and wrap yourself in it and lay at the bottom of the bird cage and that will be the kinda poop that is like any info from anyone else but us! back to your regular werewolf fun and games! SHEESH, YA'D THINK SOME FOLKS AT CERTAIN OTHER WEBSITES COULD THINK PAST THEIR DANG EYEBROWS!
Well, Ron White is right...Ya can't fix stupid.

Oh God!!!!
Whos been spinning the rumor mill again? This is the "Werewolf Cafe" right? Not the "Ole Ladies Cafe".
Hello to all pack members and constituants of the "BUBBA NATION" ,sweet lovable "Swamp Thing" here back from a relaxing retreat with all my animal friends in the Glades. Just wanted to let evrybody know that I'll be going up to the Heroes Convention up in good ole Charlotte,NC. this coming weekend (6/30-7/1) to feast on some tasty fanboy flesh and hopefully some fangirl as well but they're so damn hard to find at your average con.
So , anybody in the Carolinas stop by and visit me at Heroes , I'll be setting up camp in an area they call "Indie Island" reserved for small press publications...namely me!
While I'm here shooting my mouth off I want to wish all of the pack a very festive and SAFE 4th of July ,God Bless our Country and all who are lucky enough to call it home.
"Stars & Stripes Forever"!!!!

Hey Pack leader and the rest! Nope Bubba don't get sunburned, but he sure as heck is gonna get finger burned from the ton and ahalf of fireworks he and booger have put together out by the barn. So happy Canada day to you folks in the great white north and a very happy and safe 4th of July to the lower 48 plus 2 folks too! Celebrate the fact that you're free to say what ya like and have fun on places like the good old Cafe'! Go US of A! Now exceuse me, but Nick has duct tapped Clovis to a fairly large rocket... "Nick, ya poor excuse for a vertabrate! I don't care how much NASA is paying you to sub-contract an expedition to that dang Asteroid! you get that boy off the rocket unless ya want Bubba to grease you down for the Redneckia "Hog pen o' Independence "day catch an' grab!" ....Dang it, ya'll take care... I gotta go!

Hi to all packmembers and faithful residents of the "BUBBA NATION".
Just returned from Heroes convention in Charlotte, NC. where I had a pretty good weekend greeting comics and BUBBA fans of all shapes and sizes , of course the number one question on there lips was; yep you guessed it ; when is the next BUBBA issue coming out?
All I can say is that the next issue will raise it's furry pointy eared head soon ,as you all should know by now ,independent self publishing can sometimes mean that issue releases can be sparse and widely spread apart as opposed to the well funded major companies like DC and Marvel.
But rest assured true believers that BUBBA will return in an all new mouth watering adventure and the the next issue will be written by none other than the man with the plan himself...Mitch Hyman!
I will continue the art chores on the book(s) as long as Mitch can put up with me or until he has me killed whichever comes first.
While at the Heroes Con met quite a few BUBBA fans including one of the many members of the cafe ..."NINJAWOLF" stopped by and said "Howdy" and got one of my limited edition BUBBA prints that are still available by way....on my site.
Also did some signing for some BUBBA fans who brought by their issues for me to autograph....many thanks to Cadre for the assist.
BUBBA creator Mitch Hyman was there on Sunday only to hold a meeting with some VIPS'
discussing the wayward werewolf's future.
As you may have guessed I did quite a bit of convention sketches at the con mostly of the man of steel, "SUPERMAN" because of the recent release of the film nationwide, but I also did a few pics of BUBBA as well .
My next stop is WW/Chicago at the beginning of August ,hope to see some of ya there and I do hope that all American Werewolves had an enjoyable and harm free 4th of July...
-peace out

Thank you for the great post SWAMP THING, glad you had fun at that convention! I'll see you at Wizard World! So you won't be at the Flashback Weekend convention then? I'm going to bug you for a werewolf picture when I see you at Wizard World then (big surprise, huh?). I need to buy a Bubba T-shirt that day too (will you have them there?). Cool about another comic book issue coming out soon, looking forward to it, keep us posted!

Not for while, Zage. The Bubba movie is keeping them busy.

To the entire Bubba crew I saw/met at the Wizard World and Flashback Weekend conventions, it was so great talking with you all, stay as cool and as fun as you all are, much continued success to you.

What The Busboy said, I agree too!

HI BUBBAPHILES,
Sweet lovable Swamp Thing is back from offline hell, wanted to say thank you to the members of the Werwolf Cafe and BUBBA fans that visited me at Wizard World/Chicago.
It was cool finally getting to meet some of you guys in person...and special thanks for the support that you and the rest of the BUBBA NATION have given towards our pictorial periodicals of the South's most infamous Werewolf... and most of all thanks for your infinite patience between issues.
As for the latest on the comic books; if your interested in getting a sneak peek at the cover art of the next issue visit my site at the SURFACEARTSTUDIOS.COM and click onto the BUBBA window button to get a looksee... let me know what you think.
The next issue will be out before or by year's end... I'll keep all interested updated.
I'll be sure to mention the Werewolf Cafe in an upcoming issue of "BUBBA;the Redneck Werewolf".
As for the upcoming issue; it's entitled "Beatdown in Bulgaria" and is written by none other than Mitch Hyman himself with art by yours truly.
Also the "BUBBA/X-PHILES" limited edition print is still available while supplies last, if your interested in getting your "paws" on it again just visit my site and go to the "ART MART" section to get the details.
I also wanted to take the time to thank all of those who enjoyed the "BUBBA/X-PHILES" issue ,it meant a lot to me personally seeing as how it was my first official BUBBA story as both artist and writer.
thanks again for all the support,
till next time moon worshippers,
-Peace out:cool:

Sounds cool......though methinks some of the menfolks would prefer a Bobbi-Jo calendar.
